The mods seems to be fixed. In fact it seems quite a bit polished now. Before I played I verified my local files, and it redownloaded 2, so you might wanna try that. Make sure you delete your my documents/my games/civ v/cache and mod user data folder contents.

Playing a CiV scenario called The History of Three Kingdoms, its quite good so far. Started as Kong Rong, amazing starting location. I actually read Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Very very good but also quite a slog.
