Feb 19: Easily one of the best games played! If Starship Trooper, Warhammer 40k, Star Wars and Starcraft had a baby this would be it!

May 5: What the actual f#$% is Sony doing pulling a mandatory PSN linking in order to play on PC/Steam.

There are many players who are royally screwed over by this in "Non PSN" countries who have been able to play just fine until this gong show.

Not to mention all of the personal information being at high risk with Sony's pile of ♥♥♥♥ track record of getting hacked after hack after hack over the years.

May 6th: Helldivers defeated the greatest adversary to managed democracy of Super Earth: Sony Playstation's undemocratic greed. Game is back to recommended as it is easily one of the best! Thank you Arrowhead.

The game was in a rough shape at launch and for most of the first year of BF2042.
However, in its current state I am enjoying playing the game now and is looking forward to future content updates.
This game seems like another "Cyberpunk 2077" scenario where it took them a year to get the game into how it should have been at launch.
Definitely give it a shot if you can find it on a good sale its almost black friday

June 13th Review:

I normally don't review games on Steam but the pathetic state of this game deserves a call out.

Bots and RMTers are really ruining this game for everyone else who wants to enjoy it without 1-2 hours server queues whenever trying to play the game.

AGS and Smile Gate knows the solution to this issue but they just aren't acting on it at the cost of real players who are running out of patience.

Don't 1-3 day ban slap in the wrist... Do Permant BAN the RMTers ... bots will disappear as demand for their BS fades away.

Update 1 (June 29):

AGS & Smilegate has been putting in the works to counter bots and Queue for joining server is now down to hundreds (compared to tens of thousands when the review was posted) or no queue.

They have still not done much about the source of the problem who are the RMT players creating demand for these bots but the overall state of the game is in a much better place than it was earlier this month.

Switching to Yes (Recommended) hoping they keep up their efforts to reduce bots.
