Good game. Has some optimization issues though

Game has been out for months and still lacking major features such as co-op campaign, forge, and firefight. Now I know that some of these things are going to be released at some point, but these are features that were in previous Halo titles upon release and yet this game wont have them for a while to come. I also purchased the campaign not knowing there was no co-op. I should've returned it honestly but too late now. Another unfinished title released (and in this case, they had years to make this game so time constraints shouldn't even have been much of an issue).

Lots of fun, but best played with friends.

It could use a few patches but all around a great game for anyone that enjoys/has enjoyed the halo series.

Fantastic game. It's not a finished product yet but there is so much fun to be had and the developers role out frequent updates.

The game upon launching thinks I have vive controllers while I'm using an Oculus. SteamVR recognizes my controllers as oculus controllers, I therefore cant get past the start menu.

The game would be an okay game without the glitches, worth a look in that case. With that said there are plenty of glitches. I know this is early access and all, but the glitches are pretty big, not really glitches you can toss aside and say whatever the games still fun. (In fact, I don't think there's any small glitches, or I have yet to discover them). The glitches I've encountered so far ar as follows:

There are boats located all over the place in the game (old rusty ones) in which you can find supplies, which is all well and good if you find it in the ocean, but on land if you drop down the hatch, you are stuck there for the remainder of the game. (I guess some boats end up on islands I'm not even really sure how they get there).

The rest of the glitches I've found are all about the life raft. 1: While trying to jump onto the life raft either you or your life raft will spontaneously fly high and far into the air, only to fall into/ontop of (what is most likely) the ocean, where you will find a fair amount of shark inbetween you and the nearest island. 2: while trying to get to another island my raft dissapeared, and I (somehow) fell as if I was in the air to the bottom of the ocean. I can then swim back up to find my raft, and try to climb onto it. Only problem is as soon as you touch the raft it dissapears. There is a ladder on the raft, once touched, as aforementioned, dissapeared. Yet you may still climb up the nonexistent ladder only to tumble right back into the ocean. Raft problems happen nearly everytime using the raft, I've only successfully reached 1 island on the raft without glitching out and having to restart to my last save point.

Although this is a problem of its own, it stems from raft glitching issues. Every island in the game is small with limited resources on each, so when you start the game you quickly find that you need to go to another island if you wish to progress at all in the game, which isn't really possible because your raft will probably glitch. So basically, I can't play the game until these major glitches are fixed.

I'm running the game on a brand new macbook pro. The laptop being old is not the problem obviously, I don't know how the game fares on mac desktops, or on any kind of PC, this is just my input, although I will say when looking it up on google there are quite a few more people with the same problems as myself, enough for it not to be macbound.
