Always plenty to do in the game, and the sound design is really good.
Base building is rudimentary, but a lot of interesting automation options many of which I haven't even explored yet.
The PvE is way too easy. The only thing that can kill me is the sneaky suicide bombers.
The PvP is pretty rare, but I am guessing the frequency will go up as the game phases pass.

It is free, you have nothing to lose by checking it out. It is pretty well put together.

This is my favorite of the retro Final Fantasy games but the remake is quite literally hot garbage. If you try to play on the hard mode, everything has such fast attack speed and magic attack that it pretty much makes the game unplayable. There is enough defense in the game to make up for the extra attack, but the only way to come close to making up the magic defense is to level all your characters up to level 99. Even then every fight in the last dungeon is a matter of luck because the mobs can spam AoE magic 3x before your action bar fills up.

Waste of an option to even add hard mode if you didn't at least consider an option to raise your magic defense.

Not only that but the voice acting is horrible. It is like going to a second grade class where the students take turns reading aloud.

Just emulate the original game or play the pixel remaster, this is a waste of money.

Soul Calibur 2, slightly modernized. Online play has some issues, lobbies, lag and players who don't know how to properly set their settings can make for poor gameplay but experience with will help you avoid these pitfalls. Also good luck with the chat filter, you can't even say some of the main character names because they get flagged by the over aggressive profanity filter... ie: C ass andra...

----This is a positive review believe it or not. I love this game and recommend it to any Soul Calibur 2 fan.

Really kind of a bare bones game that offers virtually nothing in terms of a new experience or immersive gameplay. It is a chimera of mechanics from several other games in this genre and it doesn't really pull any of them off. If you want to spend your time crafting, this may be the game for you. The PvP can be fun but tends to be laggy and rather limited when it comes to build options and playstyle.... Also they will simply change the formula on you and u may have to rebuild your entire kit.

The best part about this game is the sound design. Kudos to the Sound Design team and I hope you get a job on a better title in the future.

Early Access Review
Elder scrolls meets minecraft, not fully polished but a solid game worth checking out in early access.

Visually stunning game, no enviornment feels recycled from another and gameplay is smooth as can be. I have played through the previous two Witcher games and despite the fact that I do recommend this game, it was my least favorite of the series. Open world was nice, but there was less reward to exploring than following the story arc. The enviornments didn't have the recycled feel to them but the music sure did. You hear the same twangy folk song in just about every populated area and the rest of the score was rather meh. Combat was fun, but you would see the same three finishing moves over and over again and not a single boss fight was memorable. (Compared against The Witcher2) (Yes I played on Hard) Furthermore, you see very little effect of your choices from playing the previous two games. Loading your save file is basically just to decide if one character from 2 appears in your story or not. Witcher One is unrepresented.

Visuals 10/10
Gameplay 6/10
Story 8/10
Music 5/10

Overall 7/10

TL:DR You can get the entire experience of this game playing on easy mode and following the story.

Very linear game but with nice weapon customizations and tons of easter eggs, hilarious dialog and carnage. Map design gets a little repetitive but overall great artwork. 7/10

This is one of my favorite games of recent years. One of those games where u just don't want it to end, I was so remorseful when I realized I had finished the story. 10/10.

As a huge fan of the original game, I will say I am slightly dissapointed in the sequel. Not that it's a bad game but despite the beautiful graphics it just doesn't live up to experience of the first. Combat is a shadow of the original and many scenes were obviously "made for console" where it basically coaches you to "Press X" to advance the fight. This is still a great game with a lot of entertainment value. They just spent more time on the visuals than the gameplay.
