Supergiant had me twisted around their villainous finger with Bastion, particularly for the music and storytelling, and it was an automatic buy for Transistor and Pyre; none of them were as charming or addictive as this game!

I had initially been worried that using the Greek pantheon was a misstep, given their strength at world-building. Having played this, I now prefer their version.

I'm 2 hours in. This game is rad as hell. Like 80 days, this game is unlike anything I have ever played before. If you're willing to embark on a gentle, thought-provoking, wonderful narrative journey, you owe it to yourself to sink into this game and enjoy the journey. Thanks Inkle!

Phenomenal ride awash with a beautiful soundtrack and plenty of plucked heartstrings. If you like me enjoyed helping 11 bit studios murder their darlings in This War of Mine, this game will not disappoint you. I lost a day's worth of sleep to the end of the first scenario, with no regrets.

Let us march to work.

This is not a fast game.

If that does not turn you away, you will devour this game. Intriguing and thought-provoking worldbuilding, and the very best narrative, quantity considered, i've ever seen in a game. Sometimes it is hilarious, often it is charming, and usually it is laden with sinister purpose that perpetually leaves you a shade below terrified. The gameplay is the delectable, perfect mix of challenging but fair. It's worth your twenty bucks if you have some time to kill. It's a no-brainer if it's on sale.

The Brothers Grimm fairytales were originally twisted, dark, and complicated vignettes of real life and its terrible consequences, before the modern age smoothed them, dulled them, and pacified them into sweet and boring nursery lullabies.

This game is what would have been made then if the Grimms knew how to code (and were fans of film noir, but shut up).

It is utterly phenomenal.

Just goodness, man, why are you still here?

This is perhaps the saddest, most beautiful and touching game, that is arguably a game, that I have ever played. It is a placeholder designed to fill the empty seat of tragic personal loss. Don't go in unprepared.

I lost a lot of time to this game, and enjoyed every minute. I had to give it a restart about 3 hours in, when I realized that I had lost the war, and I might actually recommend playing it that way due to the unforgiving learning curve.

Equal parts twisted and adorable. Since WoG these guys already had my money anyway, but for such a simple concept, the atmostphere is not to be missed. The thematic elements of the soundrack from Goo was a nice touch in my opinion; I like the artistic brand that they have created.

I love this stupid game. If you've ever been disappointed by the relative lack of challenge that modern games provide, this game is NETHACK-level difficult, and enjoyable throughout. You'll be glad you lost, and ready to hit the hanger again. It's worth far more than the 10 bucks they ask. Proof that Kickstarter may actually work.
