The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aren't ugly.

Cool game cool graphics, guess the developers are going with the NWO route though.
Spooder man still needs to keep muh day job, no way the city of New York could work out a dead drop of cash and or untraceable gold but then they are likely worried how spooder man will pay the taxes on that money so they don't do that.
Spooder man also loves activating the "surveillance grid" that way the cops will know where every citizen is at all times. Didn't pay your fine eh? You may be getting a visit from spooder man.
Spooder man and Peter Parker also work around millions of dollars worth of equipment but he's late on rent, sorry kiddo we can only pay ya $9.50 an hour you know how it is these days...

Various other woke nonsense most can be modded out or ignored so.

Uninstalled it.
Saw the Korean MMO gear grind present itself in a big way and though to myself "do I really want to do that again" told myself nope and uninstalled it.
You should to, plus ♥♥♥♥ Amazon if they can't run a game properly with billions of dollars.

I have played these MMOs in the past so I know what I'm saying:
Star Wars The Old Replublic
TERA
Blade and Soul
Black Desert

Where to start.
I'll be writing about my experience about 40 hrs into the game.

Pros:
The city is beautiful and fleshed out on pc.
Sound and music are both great.
Story and characters/voice acting are great.

Cons:
1. Bugs lots of them some game breaking some quest breaking. Too many to list individual ones. Many of these have persisted despite patch 1.05
2. Horrible AI on enemies. I'm talking bottom of the barrel AI, it is BAD.
3. Cops spawn directly on your location when stars are issued. No they don't fly in....they just spawn on top of your position.
4. Pretty horrible performance on a i9 9900k and a 1080ti
5. Currently have no less than 2 quests that cannot be completed because of bugs.
6. Customization is very limited.
7. No way to hide clothes including the head slot.
8. No way to change your appearance.
9. Many exploits made it into the game.
10. Difficulty is non-existent
11. Physics are a joke for a game 8 years in development.
12. Pretty limited and BORING clothing/armor options
13. For some reason there are a huge amount of consumable items in the game however there seems to be only 2 effects from (which are the same no matter the food/drink) them a health effect and a stamina effect.
14. Have fallen through the world and just DIED out of nowhere due to environmental bugs, this has happened DOZENS of times.
15. NUMEROUS small other things such as a huge amount of consumables that are different types buy however only provide 2-3 different effects at the same strength.

Recommended no.
Maybe in 6 months when it's $30 and the game breaking issues are resolved.
I am completely PERPLEXED on how after almost 8 years the game releases in this state. I have not lost total faith in CD Projekt, however they should have NEVER released the game in this state. Not to mention from what I've seen last gen console releases are ten times worse.

So to summarize great living beautiful world with great story, sound and music.
EVERYTHING else needs a lot of work.

I'll change my review when and if they fix this ♥♥♥♥, but for now if you want my opinion play GTA V it's practically the same game without the bugs, horrible performance, and Cyberpunk skin.

Also one last thing and this is purely opinion. CDPR obviously knew the state at which the game would release in. This lying and using of the gamers and players has to stop. CDPR was a beacon against all this type of thing and ♥♥♥♥ like micro transactions and now it to is gone.
Then to simply release the game knowing the state it was in to keep a time line for holidays quarterly's and investors is extremely PREDATORY to us all.

Love this thing. Fully planning on making my own wallpapers but even if that's not you're cup of tea get it just for the thousands of badass wallpapers in the workshop!

I'll be nice this time because I love the game but if you want to sell anything else you need to fix the full screen and freezes/crashes issues. Think everyone would agree. You have a great game but for $60 show some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ support.

Well. I guess really good with some cons, but nothing that should keep you from playing this awesome game!

Pros:
The animations, OH the animations.
2Bs butt, and animations.
The awesome combat, and combat animations.
Graphics are decent
Cool weird story
Seems to be a lot of content, although I have only scratched the surface of the game.

Cons:
Some bugs
Fps will tank sometimes in cutscenes or when something happens in the background.
Absolutely no reason for such steep system requirements.
Bad textures, not the whole game but definately there and in places you'll often see.

At $60 it's good but this will be a real steal during inevitable up coming sales at $40 or $30.

Strongly recommend, am going to get many fun hours out of this one and hope others do as well. It's bound to be a classic.

EDIT as of 6/29/17:

Can no longer reccomend this to anyone. Bugs persist. One very minor patch has been implimented. Pathetic that a $60 game is still in this state. Even more pathetic that a user can seem to fix through the FAR mod that the developer is too lazy to fix in a multi million dollar game. Appaling.

DLC is hilariously overpriced.

Thought it would be mediocre or even bad, boy was I wong and glad I was! Rund great looks gorgeous and you can jump right in and start blasting.

The fact it's being sold for less than $20 during the Black Friday weekend is awesome. A Must have.

The good.

Gameplay itself seems good, only played 1 1/2 hours because I don't want to go over 2 in case I do decide on a refund.
Plays fine for me with very little technical issues on a GTX 780 OC. got the FPS unlocked from 30 FPS through the ini but this ofc shouldn't be necessary.
The 2 minutes of splash screen fun are very infomative of who made the game, that Batman is a DC comics character, you should be playing it on an Nvidia graphics card and that the game is under copywrite protection.

The bad

Pretty much everything else, grainy, options like textuers locked at normal, FPS locked at 30, gray haze everywhere, stutters in open world enviroments, Looks like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ especially when you really check things out. These nice clean crisp glossy screenshots you see above this review...nope not happening. Bland washed out colors and textures are prominent throughout the small part of the game I've seen.

Am a big fan of the franchise but if there's no news on fixes or fixes themselves I'll be getting a refund and hoping they fix it later down the line as the game itself seems to be good.

2/10 for the game right now

UPDATED:
Recently bought the game again on sale. What a difference! Worthy of praise now. Haven't run into any major issues with the new build (feb of 2017) a night and day difference from it's release state.

Anyone that tried at release like me is sure to enjoy the game now if you got it refunded like I did.
