Day 2 of release. Heist crashed and kicked me back into the login menu after 20 minutes in. I left and come back 6 hours later, can't even login.

why do I need to be online for solo stealth?

I'm the only one in my group with this on Steam. Everyone else uses Xbox Game Pass. How is Crossplay on PC not implemented? Until that is implemented, anyone with friends on different stores, either hold off or all get on the same service, prepare to lose progress.

Haven't had crashes yet since official launch, but I pre-purchase and couldn't play until official launch because of the unable to connect bug.

Early Access Review
I fully understand this is still in early access. However, the points below still need to be called out as the game needs some serious balancing. Unless this is going for a very niche player base who enjoy extreme pain and discomfort in their games.

Pros:
- Polished and tactical prologue/dungeons
- Good combination of open world rpg with rogue-like elements. Give this game a unique place compared to other titles.
- No class restriction on skills/abilities.
- No bugs/crashes. Everything looks to be working as intended.

Cons:
- Post prologue open world combat is unpolished and isn't fair for the player. You will walk into groups of enemies that will catch up and murder you without much recourse. You won't be able to 1v1 them through choke point because there aren't any. You won't be able to run away most of the time since they can catch up to you as you are able to catch up to your target.
- Trips to towns are extremely common as enemies are not balanced. An encounter will put you down to half health for the first couple levels. The low experience per kill (30-40 exp per wolves), high exp required for leveling (1000 from lvl 2 to 3), and difficulty of the fights ensures you're going to stay low. Unless you get lucky and find stray single bandits.
- Mobs are random spawn every time you reload the saves.
- You're required to rent a room and sleep to save the game (30 coin a night to 180 coin a week). This is extremely high. With death being a constant mechanic, you'll be restarting and losing levels or go broke saving after every trip to town.
- The economy is horrific. A wolf pelt (doesn't drop most of the time for me) that took me 1-2 healing salve usage to get and over half my health sells for 50 gold. A bow from the fletcher sells for 400 gold. 3 Use healing salve is 50-60 gold. All fine and good if you can get your weapons from enemies, but see first two items under Cons.
- Shop items refresh every time you enter and exit a building. This is annoying and makes saving up for an item damn near impossible.
- Status and ailment mechanic needs to be majorly overhauled. How do I get rid of low sanity? It increases the damage you take the lower your sanity. Pain meds cost money and the cheapest one (40-50 gold?) makes you drunk/unable to follow command for 100+ turns. Waiting it out makes you hungry, which costs money if wild life rng didn't drop you any meat.
- The map does not tell you where you are. Unless I'm missing something, prepare to write down/remember your steps. I was running for my life away from some wolves and ended up lost. Had to die anyway and reload the game.

If you like the cons, then this game is for you. At this point, not for me. I don't play a game to be punished. I enjoy a challenge where I can plan and optimize my chances. Right now, this feels like a chore. I understand that many people will be ecstatic crawl through a game by the tips of their finger nails and revel in the difficulty; but for those that doesn't enjoy it, please put in some sort of difficulty settings or allow people to save at will/take the saving cost out.
