I purchased Rust as an impluse buy.

You begin with nothing... a rock, an empty wasteland and the sunlight slipping below the distant horizon into an eerie orange glow.

18 hours, 998 deaths and 999 lives later, i stand in my ramshackle house with my handmade shotgun pointing towards my front door. There are three bandits outside. I can hear them talk to each other, discussing how they will split the loot.

This game can be rewarding and distressing. You get out what you put in. You can lose everything in a heartbeat.

I will say that the performance can get choppy in the center of the map. Hopefully this will be resolved as the game progesses past Alpha and Beta.
