The initial release was pretty lacklustre but as with most Paradox games it is getting better with every update, so I would still recommend this game. A very interesting blend between CK2 and EU4, with lots of potential and avenues for the devs to build on.

As a standalone it is amazing already, yet it also combines WH1 and WH2 into one game (if you already own WH1) for the ultimate WH experience. According to the developers WH3 will combine all three games into a mega campaign. Definitely the best total war game (+ trilogy) ever made.

The base game may be a bit bland as for unit roster etc, but there are some incredible mods that massively enhance gameplay, unit rosters, map etc.

One of the most dynamic grand strategy games of all time, if not #1.

I finally get to watch my panzers roll over the world while listening to the Panzerlied, without having to use youtube!!!
