Honestly at this point, Paradox games are getting worse at launch and this game is an absolute atrocious mess.
> Game is constantly crashing and poorly optimized
> UI is a massive cluster ♥♥♥♥ of to many thing. Notifications and static information from tool bar literally interfering with each other
> War .... is absolute hot garbage. The war system itself requires a review in itself but it is just the most lazy non interactive hunk of junk I've ever seen.
> Diplomacy is garbage, alliances mean nothing pretty much and Diplomatic Plays make you want to hang yourself. Want to annex a subject? To bad your relations are to high they need to be bad and you need to fight for it.
> The game is just a building simulator on a big map.
> No military composition editing and the "units" are trash anyway. No uniqueness of units between countries. Just a copy pasta every one gets the same ♥♥♥♥.
> Government, laws, institutions and political parties are a joke. Process to pass new laws are also a joke and just another system of RNG that makes you want to fist your monitor.

On the plus side... the music is nice. But other than that, this is just another example of a release now fix and improve later. Dont waste your money, wait for this ♥♥♥♥ to go on sale and wait for it to actually be functional and include more content

At this point, DLC is hardly new content. Pay $10 now to have your game broken and patiently wait for the devs to fix it to a state that you'd more expect on release. Played this game since about release, but at this point I'm about over the constant BS releases that just render the game unplayable for several weeks and rng mechanics that just defy logic.

Actually disappointed to how much the DLC seemed to break the game. The new features are creative and add some interesting new mechanics. However, the overall functionality of the game seems to have broke. At the moment the DLC is not worth it at all if you want to actually play the game. Wait for patches/hotfixes to fix what should've never been released.

To clarify I've had the following issues so far:
- Save files completely erasing every nation in the game therefore being unable to resume.
- Unable to declare wars after government reform
- Loading a save file and my nation has all of a sudden become a pirate nation or merchant republic without previously selecting the new government form
- Map filters activating on their own without pressing the hotkey as well as various nation windows (f1-9 hotkeys)

Will the DLC be worth it in the future? Absolutely, just give it time for them to fix everything. I will say though that it is disappointing it was released in its current state.

This game is quite a disappointment. I've been playing the total war games since Rome and this one is by far the worse and only one I disliked. It's nice they attempted to implement new mechanics. However, the relation of food and the military is quite upsetting, along with the AI running around with a general randomly in the water, lands on your coast somewhere declares war instantly takes a village and fully reinforces that general. Next thing you no you're in the negative for food and now your armies are dieing. In house politics are a little different but not as good. Allies are quite literally retarded and not worth having because they'll try and pull you into a war with everyone. Skirmisher cavalry seem to be useless and can get run down. This different way that public order works is beyond reasonable. Overall this game is far from worth and better worth $5. Honestly if this is a peak of new mechanics they plan on implementing in three kingdoms then I'm worried...
