Oh noooo, my wallet!!

Very good, am sad now.

I walked around a planet and found a prison. Murdered everyone. Found a castle. Murdered everyone. Found a nice merchant... helped him find his lover. 10/10

I had to write a review because there were so many salty reviews saying "Games is too hard!", "Everything is predetermined! No skill just luck!", "Game forces you to make bad moves on timed missions"... To these I say,

GIT FRIKIN GUD YA SCRUBS

All joking aside, the game is supposed to be hard... Why would you want to play a game that is easy? If you could just run through each level gunning down the enemy with no consequences for miss steps how would you have fun? Maybe its just me because I like games like DarkSouls and DOTA2 and even the classic Ghosts and Goblins because they give a solid challenge. I don't see why people want to be spoon fed their games, babied through tutorials and easy mode missions until you finally understand the mechanics and then slowly the game gets harder, making sure to never get too hard, because losing will make you sad. That sounds no fun. I like to take games head on, struggle through the mechanics and overcome the obstacles. I feel that leads to a more enriching experience.

As for people that say, "No skill! Just luck!", you are playing the game wrong. Use grenades to get enemies out of cover. Flank them with your rangers and slash down the weak ones with your sword! Focus the enemies that will decimate your squad and leave the single target shooters for last. If you are mad about the aim percentages when you go to shoot an enemy, either kill their cover or try to get to a better position! It hurts to think that people don't think this is a strategy game just because they are bad at it.

Lastly, "The game forces you to make bad moves on timed missions"... that's the point... If you started every round in concealment with no turn counter you could just sneak around the full map, find where everyone is, and then set up accordingly. Boom, easy level. Adding the turn counter makes you question your choices, having you decide if you want to dash further forward and chance running into another squad of aliens, or sit in overwatch and risk running out of turns. If you don't understand the simple purpose of that mechanic then I'm not sure if you should be allowed play games because you obviously don't understand their purpose (Okay at least some games, I cant say every game needs to be difficult because there zen games, and children's games ;) ).

Anyways, if you made if through all that ranting you must have enough patience to play the wonderful game that is XCOM2 so I would get it. If you like turn based games and a nice challenge this is the game for you.

10/10 would get way too emotionally attached to all my squad mates and cry when they get shot again

Doesnt work. Crashes every time I get like 5 min into playing. Not my coputers faults, tried it on both of my amazing computers.
