Survival is where it's at it's finest. Much better experience over other difficulties. There is a feeling of being a lone survivor on this big world which you cannot just go to explore. First you need to prepare for you trip where will I go, can I do it in one day, will I be able to have some sleep before it's gets dark or do I come back to one of my settlements which are essential for exploring Commonwealth. Only then we can think abaut what can I take with me how how much water and food I need to take with me. What guns do I take with me and how much ammo I need because even they have weigth.
I defenetly recommend this game for it's awesome atmosphere of trying only to survive in this dangerous world where everything can kill you especially deathclaws and o'boy dont get me startted on those mirelurks.
