I don't usually write reviews but I've struggled to put Poe 2 down. The game has a phenomenal foundation for GGG to continue to build on and there's already a wealth of content within the game.

Combat feels much better compared to Poe 1, animations are slick, the pace of the game has been slowed down and the moment to moment gameplay feels a lot more methodical and fun. There's so many bosses with engaging mechanics, they've taken a page out of souls games and added a layer of difficulty that requires the player to pay attention and just makes the gameplay more engaging.

The depth of building your character is there, the giant skill tree allowing you to build whatever kind of character you'd like and the skill gem system has been revamped to make it easier to understand for new players and more accessible. Skill refunds are easier to do now which allows for more freedom to experiment with builds and cost a portion of gold in town.

Graphics & Music are high quality, the loot system is much more reserved and much less convoluted compared to Poe 1. Things have been brought back to baseline and when a new piece of gear drops you feel the difference in your character.

Overall this is an extremely high quality game so far, im having a ton of fun and fully expect the game to continue to grow from here. Would recommend.
