My time on this is incorrect as I originally got this as a Prize during NaNoWriMo 2019. Despite only having Campfire for a few weeks, I can honestly say it has made my note taking, world building, and general pre-writing and post-writing review significantly better.

I can easily organize and cross reference various items without having to tumble through various notebooks or web pages. I am also able to place in references to research I have done, or add notes to remind me where to look in other apps (scrivener and aeon timeline which I use for the actual writing). It's especially great since I use dual monitors and can have it up on one side, while I have scrivener or aeon up on the other.

On top of that their support team is amazingly responsive and engaging, I have yet to have a negative experience with anyone on their support staff, which I cannot say regarding any other company. I highly recommend this program as a tool for authors, dungeon masters, or other creators who need to keep their world notes organized.

Quite frankly I don't see why people are complaining about this game. Yes it places limits on what can and can't be built depending on what region you are in, but that makes perfect sense to me. The game also limits what can be built when, which is fairly standard for any strategy game I've ever played.

I don't know about you others, but I actually find the combat system in 2205 much better and smoother than that in 2070, and the concept of a continual fleet that can be upgraded is rather fun.

As for the "structured" environment created by the games storyline and objectives, none of them have prevented me from building any available structure to my heart's content. I've even been able to skip ahead a bit technology wise over where the game "wants" me to go based on the storyline objectives. Over all I'd give it a 8/10

Fun free roam MMO shooter, great graphics and combat system. Ark falls a bit tough but worth it
