Early Access Review
I very much enjoy the tranquil, peaceful space exploration where I gather materials for a benevolent utopia at my leisure without fear of my sanity or safety.

10/10 would recommend if you want to relax

Elden Ring is far from perfect, but definitely worth playing. Its not a master piece, and its a somewhere between a good game and a great game.

The bonks are real. Graphics are shiny. Atmosphere is very cool.

PvP is still super janky and based more on latency, wonkiness, and stat checking more than any actual skill.

Enemies get increasingly more and more insane anime combos that force you to chain dodge over and over and over again just to get one hit in edge wise, but the character you play doesn't feel well suited to the challenge in terms of mechanics.

It almost feels at times like the character and the boss are from two separate games and someone modded them together because the design just doesn't make any sense at many times.

If DS1-3 is the LOTR, then Elden RIng is like The Silmarillion. Every thing is bigger, more primeval, and has a very fantastical feel to it.

NPC quests are so unintuitive you literally have to look up a guide for just about every NPC or you can forget about doing it. Definitely took a step backwards from Dark Souls 3 where (most) quests could be done by paying attention, which I liked.

They combined pyromancy and faith into one stat which I think is a huge W and an improvement over older mechanics.

Certain boss fights, despite the confusion of mechanics, are just so awe inspiring and they really make you feel like you're inside of an ancient saga.

Play on hard mode.

The dwarfs use their natural allegiance with the green skins to come attack you

10/10 would have my capital razed by a coalition of dwarves and greenskins again.
