Howdy Royce. Long time no break into your house while you're on vacation. Had to turn your coffee pot off last time. :) Anyway, just stopping by to Highly recommend that you play The Witcher 3 when you get a chance. I should have posted this during the summer sale and did not think of it, sorry! Was too busy playing W3. Next time it's on sale Grab it, the 12 or so free DLC and the 2 paid DLC. This game is awesome and Far superior to Skyrim's base game[very few mods for this one and none are that great].

Take care and I hope life is treating you well. :)

greyroyce 24 Oct, 2014 @ 3:04pm
Great Deb...glad you were able to make some new friends..Multiplayer is very different..and does take some getting use to. Best thing to do is find out if they have head sets and mics...better to be albe to talk to groups live...
truscotty 24 Oct, 2014 @ 12:09pm
I got on one of the forum boards and made some friends and got my feet wet playing ME3 multi with just a random group. It was pretty intense! Still don't know what I'm doing yet. Playing the single player gave me some advantage but there are things about the multiplayer that is different and I have to figure that out first. Origin does have a friend set-up similar to Steam. Don't know the ins and outs of it yet. Just learning but it looks pretty good so far. Met some nice people!
greyroyce 24 Oct, 2014 @ 8:04am
Deb didn't really find anything on the site that looked like Steam. I never use to like Steam but they have created a good place for people to make friends and discuss games and post screen shots.
greyroyce 21 Oct, 2014 @ 8:05pm
Deb you didn't make me feel quilty so don't worry about that. I do understand venting it's a healthy thing to do, and it's not good to keep everything inside.
Looks like you may have found a helpfull site..I'll look at it a bit more to see if I can help you figure it out.
truscotty 21 Oct, 2014 @ 5:54pm
I think I found the site. I added my name but I don't know how it works yet. http://forum.bioware.com/groups/722-dragon-age-multiplayer/
truscotty 21 Oct, 2014 @ 5:16pm
Royce, really I wasn't trying to make you feel guilty so you would join me! That's so sweet anyway but it isn't necessary. I've been playing computer games by myself for 40 years now and it hasn't killed me yet. I was just venting my frustration. Sometimes a person just has to do that or explode. I'm still determined to find a site that I can find some friends to play DA3 with though. I just haven't ran across the right forum yet.
greyroyce 21 Oct, 2014 @ 4:45pm
Deb:Deb I feel bad and if I can I will join you in DA3 because I think friends should support each other if not then why call someone your friend... Hope your evening is great...talk to you later..got to make dinner now.
greyroyce 21 Oct, 2014 @ 4:45pm
Well first of all Deb alot of peopel have problems remembering things..I for one. It's nothing to be embarrased or ashamed of or even have to appologize for. I think these game help keep our memory sharper, we have to remember where we put things and what things we have to do next.
It's never too late to start ESO but I think you like the more involved story line like Dragon Age and I kind of do to.

I'm sorry you had a problem with Mike. Don't feel bad alot of people piss me off and at times I just have to leave the computer for a while and do something else. We are all different and have different ways of dealing with things. Some people have health issues that make them well lets just say less easy to get along with at times. I just try to do the best I can and not worry too much about it.. I complain alot but I'm just trying to vent my frustrations. I see the talent that some of these game creators have and at times it seems like they have there heads up there butts.

truscotty 21 Oct, 2014 @ 10:19am
I didn't want to get into an MMO like ESO by myself so I just didn't. I wish I had known you were going to play I might have considered it. At least I would have had 1 friend in there and I could have made others while in the game.
truscotty 21 Oct, 2014 @ 10:05am
Yeah I thought about Ron but he hasn't seemed interested in DA in the past. It's not Randy's kind of game and Jady never took the time to learn how to play the first DA so I don't think she will be up for the 3rd. The problem with the MMO for DA3 is that it is not open for all players like in ESO. You only have your 4 party members in with you so you have to have your friends picked out to begin with. I'll probably never get to play the multiplayer part of it but that wasn't why I was trying to find friends to play with. It's just more fun to discuss it amongst ourselves rather than having to read the player guides and online help. I probably should have gotten in on ESO but Mike just pissed me off so bad I didn't want to play with him anymore! He's not a patient sort and I have problems remembering things. It's part of my disability and I don't like having to apologize all the time for it! He's not very sensitive and can be downright rude so I just wrote him off.
greyroyce 21 Oct, 2014 @ 8:28am
Deb we don't all have to be playing the same game to be friends and communicate with each other. You can allways chat with me about the game your playing and post screenies and I'll comment on them.

I do understand about story line and characters in the game that you get to know make it a much richer experiance. The characters in Dragon age are memorable.
ESO follows the Oblivion and Skyrim line and there are tons of referances to all the places and people we knew in the series.

Maybe I can devote some time to the new Dragon Age...
Don't be a stranger....have a wonderful day.
greyroyce 21 Oct, 2014 @ 8:24am
Deb I wish I wasn't involved in ESO right now because I know what you mean about having friends playing the same game and it is more fun. I've tried to make friends in other games but they are all young and we just don't speak the same language. What about Ron, he plays alot of games in a year I'd try him.

Basicly I only have a very few friends, you, Mike,Jady which I got to know from Mike. Never talk to Randy anymore and only talk to Ron once in a great while. The ESO game allows you to play ingame with your friends...I joined a guild in the game that Mike was a part of and met a couple of great guys our age that play quite a bit and have been able to meet up with them in the game.

I would suggest that if the game has a guild maybe you could join one. Not sure if guilds are only in MMO's or not. If you can craft armor in the game then it seems to me you would need material that you find in game and that might lead to the game having guilds..but I'm only guessing.

truscotty 21 Oct, 2014 @ 12:35am
I'm just trying to get someone to play the game with me. It's more fun that way! I'm going to have fun anyway but I'm spoiled by playing Skyrim with you guys! It just made it that much better! I wish we would all get together for another game but I understand if you can't right now. :( There's going to be thousands of people playing but I don't know any of them or how to befriend them because all of my friends are on Steam. Do you have any ideas? I've even thought about placing an ad for friends on one of the forums but I can't find one that I feel comfortable with and I'm afraid all the results I'll get are teenagers that use the f word every other sentence because that's the only way they know how to communicate.
greyroyce 20 Oct, 2014 @ 10:27pm
Deb they should have you in the online previews..your a great sales person..Makes me want the game..but still have to wait a bit.. I'm really glad it's being released because I know you have been waiting for this one.
truscotty 20 Oct, 2014 @ 6:10pm
And I didn't mention crafting!
truscotty 20 Oct, 2014 @ 6:08pm
What do you mean by "open concept"? It is going to be an open world to explore like Skyrim. But that doesn't necessarily preclude that it is going to be a great game. Dragon Age 1 was a great game and it wasn't an open world. I think this game is going to take all the awards this year but that's not why I plunked down $70 and would have given more if they would have asked for it. It's going to have everything I want in a game all rolled up in one. Storyline, graphics, adventure, collecting, role-playing, romance, cool weapons and awesome fighting! I can't wait!
greyroyce 20 Oct, 2014 @ 8:48am
Thanks for the link Deb. I think I'm going to hold off for a while and wait to read a few reviews, not really seeing that the game is going to be an open concept like Skyrim. Would like to see what kind of mods get produced for the game also and I'm sure that won't happen for a while.
greyroyce 19 Oct, 2014 @ 7:26am
Hey Deb how are you? I'm not sure if I have an Origin Acct. or not, I"m thinking I do but I'll have to check. Not sure if I will be playing it right away but I'm sure I will at some point. Are there any previews out?
truscotty 18 Oct, 2014 @ 5:05pm
Royce do you plan on playing Dragon Age 3? It's coming out Nov 18 on Origin. Do you have an Origin acct? If you do I would like to send you a friend request. I don't know if it's anything like the Steam friends are or if you can leave comments and such for your friends. I don't know.
greyroyce 22 Sep, 2014 @ 5:58am
Still struggling with ESO trying to craft armor sets, I've made progress some progress but the highter level you are the materials needed to create sets change. All the stuff that has been collected is well more or less obsolete. Not to say it can't be used to craft lesser level items then sold which is a bonus. I'm still trying to figure out how the very first players in the game crafted there set armor. I have a level 26 clothes crafter and still cannot craft a set for my level 38 Sorcerer Lt. Armor. Don't have the material and to purchase it well it's insane. I'll most likely create a level 34 set and just be behind on the armor level until I find more of the right kind of material.
truscotty 24 Aug, 2014 @ 7:54am
Royce I didn't know it was your birthday! Have a happy one and fun gaming!
ronr42 24 Aug, 2014 @ 4:18am
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Royce :)
greyroyce 15 Aug, 2014 @ 7:18am
Just returned from a week in the woods camping. It was all fairly good untill the last day wed. when we decided to take down part of the camp to get a jump on thursday. Right in the middle of taking down our main structure "we call it the camp kitchen" it started pouring rain, I mean bucket loads. We had to dash into the cheap sunscrean shelter and hook tarps all around to keep the rain out. Later that night we tried to watch a movie on the old portable DVD and it rained so loud that it was diffictult to hear the movie. Oh well camping is like a box of chocolates you never know what your going to get..LOL now where have I heard that before?
