It's kinda disappointing.

I bought this hoping for a tonne of new features but instead of evolving I feel it has somewhat devolved, the graphics are better, but installations have been scrubbed, swapped out for a click and place system which feels overly simplistic and takes out satisfaction of installing and fitting things such as showers, radiators, plug sockets etc.

The paint system is pretty much the same, except you can zone areas, difficulty can no longer be toggled, so if I wanted to have complex installations with no guides, well that entire system is now out the door, I find some decorations are actually missing from the first, so I can't be as creative.

I hate to say it, this feels like a quick cash grab without having all its features fully fleshed out around the christmas period and lacks the features its predecessor possesses, cannot recommend in its current state.

Highly recommended, at first I lost interest? Why? That's because I was new and was a lamb to the slaughter, you got a fair share of players here that have played this game since its release, so for new players, you're going to learn the hard way.

However after playing for a while now, I really enjoy this game, the kill sound and animations combined with meme's make this game hilarious whilst it is challenging, couldn't recommend it enough.

But despite the high praise there are some issues such as - The Mods, there's barely a player who has come out unscathed by a moderator, they are fine 75% of the time, however they use the broad description of the rules to essentially enact their will, most players will scarper from a server as soon as a mod "badges" up (Make themselves known).

Not for me, I found this somewhat lacking, having played a lot of survival based games, this didn't cut the mustard, the zombies are very predictable, easy to outrun and avoid. Food is pretty plentiful and as long as you think ahead in the future, after that, it's down to building, which is pretty much a monotonous grind to find the resources.

After this, that's it, that's game over, you got all your survival nailed and you just go around collecting random crap, nothing to keep you going, no events, no special achievements. You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself get bored and kill yourself.

For me this was no good, first issue I encountered was the fact the game seems obviously mapped for controller usage rather than keyboard usage, so I had to go online to find out how to interact with the game which should be intuitive.

Second issue I found, there's no real chat, you can enable chat but it's voice only, there's no text chat, so it's easy to get bored and loose interest in the game.

Thirdly the combat is completely random, sometimes it responds very slowly to your inputs, sometimes not happening at all or suddenly knocking another player on the ground without warning, overall I had this feeling that the game seems unfinished and unpolished, I would expect this off an early access game but not one considered ''finished'' the fact that it's a "silly" game is no excuse for the reduction of quality.

Was very sceptical of this game viewing it, however after buying it, I'm glad I did, this is without doubt one of the best RTS games I've played, it has it all, survival, combat and progression. Brilliant game.

Fantastic game! At first when I bought this, it was a little bit glitchy, a bit slow. But it was early access! Now it's an amazing experience to play, changes all the time, highly recommended to all!

Without doubt a fighting system that will last and should be replicated amongst modern games.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!

This game, no matter what others may think, yes it is an improvement to the graphics, but all your buying ladies and gentlemen is Age of Mythology Single Player, the entire multiplayer community has been halved and many people having multiple issues with the game itself which includes FPS, PING and CRASHES. The developers have now had their fair share of time to fix these issues which should of never occurred in the first place as this is just a graphical adapation with a few mods thrown in.

If you don't take my word for it please read this post https://steamproxy.com/app/266840/discussions/2/35219681828329494/#p5 this will highlight the issues currently plaguing the game and I thoroughly urge the developers to sort your game out, YOU ARE ROBBING PEOPLE OF THEIR MONEY...Additionally if these issues are not fixed soon I recommend Steam take immediate action and throw this game off your library, these developers are conning the Steam community with an unfinished, undeveloped game without declaring any sort of early-access state.

If you really want to play Age of Mythology, I recommend you grab an original copy of the game, download a network client such as Voobly or Gameranger and play the game free of issues and halving your costs without the additionally anger being thrown on top.

Excellent game, the updates come thick and fast, unlike some games which try and "rip-off" Minecraft, this is not one of them, this has a completely different style of gameplay and has kept me busy finding small rocks and hunting animals for hours, great survival game, recommended highly for Zombie and Survival gaming enthusiasts.

Brilliant game, really nice Look and Feel and plenty of features that will keep you busy even though it's in Alpha, I hope this eventually be roled out for all Operating Systems!
