Game is utter garbage of code, it is literally unplayable for a lot of people right now, due to bases being corrupted and items deleted or missing. This is after a "Maintenance" shutdown. Don't waste your money or time, its only a matter of time until more and more people have this happen. I literally cant even play right now because my permanent base marker is gone. They also have spam account up-voting their game so i suggest reading only the negative reviews.

Cant even launch the game.

Awesome game, really good gameplay and story. Its simple yet elegant. It has a really big resident evil feel with some of the things and its mechanics. Its not really a horror game and isn't scary at all. I would say it worth getting and they did a good job on it. It even has some replay value with extra content at the end. Hope to see a sequal.

DO NOT BUY ENTIRE STUDIO LAID OFF. Unless more people change their reviews do not buy it. This seems to now be a cash grab, and will probably be another class action lawsuit.


Honestly I have been waiting for this since it was announced, But cannot recommend it in its current state. I am experiencing game breaking bugs that won't allow me to build any larger rockets assemblies to get further than earth. The game is very basic, and even has less than KSP 1 in some aspects. I would honestly wait to buy it otherwise it might just be sitting in your library like mine waiting for them to actually patch more important bugs that break the game.
This is added on after playing even more. Even with work arounds for some of the game breaking bugs, i find even more. Your rocket can sometimes randomly explode, at a certain altitude your rocket could have parts catch random air pockets or something I don't know, some parts will glitch your assemblies making them shake violently, and all of this is the game breaking stuff that just makes it unplayable. The game is not stable at all, its not coded efficiently at all, and the physics are so buggy. This game a hot mess, and is not playable unless you want to build tony rockets and go no wear.

Short answer for should you buy, is NO, not in its current state. Long answer, this game has a really good and awesome concept. People compare it to Escape From Tarkov and they would be all wrong but it is like that but it is way less hardcore. First the game is in a really poor shape, and by poor I mean bad. It's coding and bugs are so bad that their servers can crash from small things. There are so many things that can cause issues, from bugs when loading in, to pressing alt at the wrong time, to poorly coded user interface interactions. They are currently running the free version of Anti-cheat from what I have been told so banning is really bad, so bad that the top person Squiddy999 or Squiddy9998 on twitch had over 1000 kills more than the next person and took a while to ban him, for the second time. You will constantly lose either ships, part of your stash, or your whole inventory because of constant crashes and bugs. While gameplay can be fun, I was just done with the devs not wanting to do anything about it other than note it, and I'm not into Non Dark Souls Masochism. There are constant cheaters as well if you didn't loose your gear to a crash. I have seen better coding on tiny dev teams working in their spare time, and this game has a big publisher. You may say oh its early access, but this is not even ready for early alpha. You will get constantly frustrated with trying to just complete a quest. Oh and some quests ingame are uncompletable, because either of the ships you have to breach into may spawn in asteroids or not be there. I would not waste your money on this as of now as it is not worth it, and has no incentive to buy early on. The devs also don't want people talking about people getting banned and will silence you. They also don't like when the shops are in your favor with bugs and want to wipe. So yea they don't care about stabilizing the game enough right now. This goes to show that no matter how good an idea poor management and execution can bring it down.

I am going to try and keep this short. I think this is a very good game, story wise and has some replay value to get some of the other items and weapons. It offers a rich story and some tie ins with resident evil bio hazard. While there are some issues with the rendering like with the last sister in the game, its is still one of the only games i have gone and played the story again. It is a must play especially on sale. I have played many resident evil titles, and this is by far one of the best. While it is not an original in terms of game play style it is still really good. It does play a lot like resident evil bio hazard but with a little more action.

I would first like to say that I love this game, but that being said I would strongly advise not currently wasting your time until the developers care enough to fix the issue I'm about to talk about. So the biggest reason I cannot recommend buying this is because of the blatant and overwhelming amount of cheaters in the game. People buy the game just to go on the colonial side and destroy colonial structure, then they proceed to get a refund and do it all over. The warden side fills so fast its not realistically possible to join them or cheat on their side. They filled literally in the first 2 hours on shard 2. This game has one of the most communicative and team work I have ever seen, but it also has the most toxic side of a game that relies on fair play. I was one of the leaders of a massive clan. I spoke to the developers as well about the issue and received a standard copy paste response to use a ticket systems that is not fixing the games broken state. As of now close to a hundred member are not going back to the game because of this and I hope more will join to show this needs to be fixed immediately and take it seriously. If this does not happen and and you buy the game you will either be on a one sided group who cheats to win, or continue to lose every war and hate the game.

I always right short simple reviews. So to start this game is so unrealistic. It like a combination arcade and semi realistic shooter. Its also broken and has bad design. If you want a good realistic sniper game dont buy this. First windage is so unrealistic. From 50m your bullet might as well be a airsoft pellet, because if the wind is across you it deverts like a foot. Realistically being at 50 to 100 meters your shots should not be affected by wind enough to even remotely matter. So this stacks with being at over that. Gas mine dont properly work. I found this out in the first mission. Some enemies starting having gas masks later and i found out this was a challenge to kill 5 enemies. So i tried to used mines only realizes after a few attempts they had masks. I was like oh OK, so i used it on the ones clearly without masks. Nope didn't work on them either they would just set them off and run away. Multiplayer is unbalanced and a camp fest with only a handful of people playing so if you start good luck getting kills with the unsilenced rifle you start with and everyone hardly even moving out of cover. Not fun at all. This is so far just a couple hours playing the game. Long story short save your money game is not really worth it because of how stupidly arcady it starts to feel. Oh and you don't have to calculate windage it does it for you, even are hard mode. Cant turn it off. Also seems as though distance doesn't calculate or work properly and i end up aiming over target, with the distance calculator on scope.

Awesome really short game shame though its only like 10 minutes long would love more.

I just love the guy who said train simulator 2018 was the same as 2021. I'm looking at you Dark Blue Monkey . I love how he said he bought the same game twice, and is too ignorant to realize it. Because they are the same game i bought this way back, oh i had to look, 2010. So i bought this 11 years ago and what i get all newer version free. Yea if anyone complains about this game they are essentially complaining that they don't do enough to keep an 11 year old game up to date. That being said i love this game because of the fact that its one of the very few that give you all newer versions whether or not they update it much. Though the DLC's are expensive you don't have to buy them to enjoy the game. If you want a particular asset but it on sale.
