Do not let the screenshots and videos fool you. This game is 100% better when played especially when its modded

One of the best stories i have ever seen in general and the best game story I've played.

Just one recommendation, do not drink while playing this game to the end otherwise you will lose a lot of tears by the end and you will keep hearing a hallucinations of the Geiger counter for a whole day.

Really fun game whether playing solo or with friends, even though its an early access, cant wait to see its full release.

i do not mind buying it with its price tag (even though I've purchased it on discount).

i played this game for ~5 hours and this is the result:

One of the worst decision I've ever taken on steam is purchasing this game.
80% role play and 20% strategy game (not like how it was advertised as a strategy game so ignore the videos and pictures bits on the store page with its attractive graphics and units).
the strategy part of it is decent (6.5 out of 10), however i can name strategy games from the 90s that are far greater than this game with all of its DLC's combined any time.

For anyone think its a good strategy game, then you haven't played strategy games at all or don't know them.

in short, over rated and waaaaaay over priced (good thing i bought it on sales so if you can buy it for less than 10$ go ahead, but still not worth it in my opinion).

If you appreciate role play then you might like it.

1- Bad controls.
2- Bad graphics.
3- Not really a zombie game as it used to be in RE 1, 2 and 3.

Even though its a game from 2005, it disappoints me as i was expecting more from it. i highly recommend the remastered version to get a better experience of RE 4 game even though i haven't tried the remastered my self yet. However, based on the trailer and the pictures it looks promising.
So if you're interested in the 3 things i mentioned above, reconsider getting this game.

Great game, hard to survive at this point but fun.
Overall, its positive side overcome its negative side. its an early access so depending on its developers, it might become something much better in the future and lets be honest bugs do exist in every game. so a couple temporary bugs wouldn't take off the carpet off from this game.

If you're into Strategy, Indie Tower Defense games then i suggest this one, the best TD game i've ever played so far.

Fun and hard as you progress, makes the time drain like a glass of water.

Over rated, terribly optimized, filled with bugs and lags.
i literally spent all of the played time with lags on main menu, in game and trying to open the setting (escape) with lags.

i wanted to refund but steam rules allow to refund if it has less play time.
