My first playthrough I went in blind and tried to make the most violent, irrational decisions to lead to a bad endings. Surprisingly, my ending was very hopeful and positive, so I went online to look up if there were truly negative endings. I saw that I missed how one main character could nuclear bomb a city, another main character could be sent to a concentration camp, while the last main character's presence could be so much it drives one of the game's coolest character's to commit suicide. My second playthrough I was shocked at how dark the story got. I would recommend this game to anyone who played The Walking Dead game and wanted to kill Lee in the first mission or send Clementine to a concentration camp , but were limited by mechanics.

suddenly it's 2004 , post-9/11 , i'm back in my large-now-foreclosed childhood homes living room , hearing distance sounds of my now divorced parents wrecking each other in the bedroom , my now estranged brother is showing me Spiderman-2 for gamecube . it's not 2004 , but this game transported me there from my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ crumbling new york for a few hours without having to drink myself to death.

reviewing at 38 hours ( childsplay ... ) ck3 playtime and 6700 on crusader kings 2 over a decade's playtime . i thought i could never make the transition to ck3 from ck2 . i only got into college after i was encouraged to apply to a technology major after using my high school's computers for writing code for modding ck2 ; ck2 was my life . no way anything could top ck2 right ? after quite a bit of time to adjust to how different it is from ck2 , i am now convinced i placed myself on earth at this moment of time in this cursed flesh vessel so that i could live along side ck3 in a life gifted with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gaming computer . i was not put on this earth for conquest , good , child rearing ; i was born to absorb ck3 and become god post-pandemic . pandemic was an update by the developers to make time for more ck-ing .

start as stupid monke. become smart monke. learn to love stupid monkes. This is the game Spore promised to be 2 decades ago. Rated T for Teen but the gruesome monke deaths will leave any grown man shuttering and weeping.

This is one of the most ridiculously fun and therapeutic game I've played in a long time; it compares to the beta years of Minecraft in terms of zoning out content. You start as the worst handiman in the world, struggling to complete the most basic of tasks. After you do around a dozen odd jobs, you become an unstoppable terrain editing king, getting mad pay for your hard work. The developers clearly have put a lot of love into this game, with buyable/editable renditions of the Heisenberg home, Simpson's home, Michael Myers home, ect.

I bought this game with the first one as a bundle, and put off a review due to a bug where my first episode choices were reset within this episode (the bug was easily and eventually resolved, and most likely could have been avoided by playing the Shadows Mode version, which in my experience is much more optimized). Here's the deal; Due to my choices in the first game, my first playthrough of this episode turned into a 5 episode long romantic comedy where Batman and Harley Quinn battled it out for the Joker's affection. The entire episode was filled with sexual tension with Batman and the Joker going on date, both of them constantly declaring their love for each other, Batman forgiving every crime and misstep by the Joker because he thinks he's cute, ect,. What's amazing is that this first playthrough was completely different and unique from my second playthrough. If you want a Telltale game that actually gives you choice, I highly recommend this game. Incredible story & player choice, I give the entire series a 10/10.

When I first started Episode 1, I decided I wanted to play out my version of Batman to be the worse supervillain out of any of the ones presented in the game. Thankfully, Telltale gave me the decisions to enact total mayhem and carnage. By the end of episode one after I impaled an elderly white-collar criminal on live television, I knew I was in for an episodic experience I was actually in-control of. I'm very excited to have a "Shadows Edition" replay, in which I reply "..." for every given dialogue option.

9/10, best episodic choose-your-own adventure title i've played since walking dead s1 revived the market/set the industry standard.

This game made Lord of the Rings seem interesting to me.

This is a must play for anyone who is a fan of: RPGs, Vampires, The Early 2000s, California, the voices of John DiMaggio, Grey DeLisle, Phil LaMarr, and the many other amazing voice actors this game casts.
