Early Access Review
Game runs pretty smooth on Ultra,i love the look of it too really feels immersive.I noticed my nature ambiance sound was set to 0 by default raising that up really increased my enjoyment since the sound design is on point.

The game does have bugs tho, mainly black screen and game freeze when you try to sleep on each 3rd night(Season change) so you have to restart the game, fortunately it autosaves when you go to sleep so when you restart you are already in the next season.
Sometimes quest givers bug out and you cant talk with them, e.g had to follow NPC to a place where we can make an archery target,we reach the place but the NPC doesnt wanna talk with me.

As a final note,i wish the game allowed us to set how long each season is,because for me 3 days per season is way too little, really conflicts with my style of gameplay and i feel like im constantly forced to be on the move to finish everything due to how fast each day goes by and the fact as i said a season is 3 days and you can only do certain things in some seasons.

TL:DR : Well worth the money, even if it has some issues. Not for players that dislike losing often against goats :D

Took me a lot of beating as well as using some OP gamestarts till i learned most of the systems.
But now that i do im quite in love with the game and what you can do in it,true it needs some mods to fix some stuff and make it better(but im used to playing Bethesda titles :D )

It was well worth the money i spent and even though í've restarted several times wanting to try new things i don't feel a burnout coming soon which is a huge for me,so the replayability is there. The FCS(mod tool) is quite easy to use compared to some other dev provided mod tools and you can very easily change your game if you don't fancy something.

My biggest problem is optimisation/stability even without mods having fast characters and using the 3x game speed leads to some automatic pausing/loading which i really dislike(my PC is beefy and game is on SSD),im somewhat scared of how the game might behave if i have 2-3 big outposts around the map and have those regions loaded all the time.

I give it a 9/10 i've needed an RPG like this one for a while now where i can truly RP and do crazy stuff like dismembering my characters limbs on purpose to strap him with some hi-tech prosthetics.

Now my Skyrim LE is heavily modded(40+ mods) compared to Skyrim SE which has only like 10-15 mods but even so SE runs smooth mods or not, compared to LE...my pc is potato so its quite noticable Bethesda did fix something when i can get 2-5s load screens almost 90% of the time when in LE shortest load was like 10s but usually around 20-30s.
As i said im running on potato power :D but even so im playing on Low/Med at 22-24fps at ALL times regardless of what im doing and thats for exteriors in interiors it goes all the way up to 50 depending on how much light sources there are, im getting a ton more fps dips/jumps in LE than in here.
Once some of the better mods starting getting ported game will defo become the new norm.

FYI to those wondering how much potato power im running the game with:
CPU- i3-4170 3.7Ghz
RAM- 12GB
GPU - R7 250 2G(soon changing to GTX 1050Ti)
No SSD!(so with SSD load screens might be 1s long :D)

EDIT#1: 4y later + high end system and 150+ mods game handles very well rarely get CTDs and it's still as enjoyable as always.

Ive played PoE since before it was "released" granted i never progressed much since i was just going in to see the new stuff, and then continued playing D3 or some other games. PoE is def. a really cool game to play, and i always return to it after a while(just like i return to any other game with huge replay values)!

10/10

Edit#1: Several years later and my 10/10 score is still the same, the game has only improved further and further, the devs really do love their game.
