It just makes me miss Reach

I'll admit, when the devs prioritized working on the multiplayer over the Xen stuff first, I was afraid they were going to drop the ball at the last second on an otherwise near perfect reimagining of the old classic. With the launch of Xen, I'm glad to be wrong, they knocked it out of the park.

Never played a DMC game in my life. Got on the hype train when this one was announced, bought the HD collection, and 4 and binged through them to get to 5. It kicked my butt the whole way, but it was a fun venture into the series.

It's not the Dark Souls of FPS, it's the Devil May Cry

TLDR Version: Doesn't quite hold up compared to REmake 2 or the original it's meant to be based on. Wait for a sale.

Pros
-Runs well
-Looks great
-If you wanted more action in REmake 2, you'll find it here

Cons
-Lots of cut areas and puzzles mean the game is significantly shorter
-All the special monsters are relegated to very specific set piece locations
-Nemesis encounters are heavily scripted (He IS terrifying when he does show up however)

Do you like Halo? Because it's Halo, but on PC!

While definitely fun solo, you'll get more mileage with friends

The nostalgia was not tarnished

The beautiful engine of RE7, coupled with the gameplay style of RE4, and placed in the setting of RE2. Its not a remake in the same vein as the first Resident Evil Remake, but it's certainly an entertaining experience.

I know this demo has gotten flak for only beeing 30 minutes long, but trust me, by the end of those 30 minutes you'll know if you want the full game or not
