One word: AWESOME!

Only played the campaign so far, since I'm not a big fan of online shooters.
I was skeptical at first, since I didn’t believe it would bring back the old memories from the original DOOM.
But it’s brilliantly adapted, and still old style. The shooting,moving, jumping.
It’s frantic, and I love it, although I thought I wouldn’t after seeing some gameplay footage.
Watching gameplay footage doesn’t do it justice, since you don’t realize how smooth it feels and how well it plays.

The AI is brilliant for this kind of game. Stop and you are dead. Once you get in the middle of it, there is no safe spot or corner. They will jump down or climb to get you, It’s either kill or be killed. No time stop and think.

So, I played the original Metro 2033 when it came out (2010 I think?) and I loved. Then recently I bought Metro Last Light,
But because it's been years since I playe Metro, I decided to get the Redux versions and start from scratch.
Loving it. To me it feels like playing a new game. I have no idea why I like it so much to be honest. It's been so long since I played Metro 2033 that I can't really compare them without putting them side by side.
But like many players mentioned. Metro 2033 Redux doesn't feel like just a money grab thing. It's AWESOME :D

This was an amazing surprise. Bought it so I could join some friends, and ended up playing until 8:30 am :|. Highly recommended
