To quote another reviewer - "addictive and tedious". I didn't get too far but the whole time I felt like I can't put the game down because SOON it will get good... Hasn't so far, don't really care to find out if it does?

Maybe play it if you like these games but also, maybe just re-play your genre favourite with some friends instead of this?

Edit:
Beat the main story, easy 9/10 for the game.
Had immense amounts of fun all the way through.
It's a little silly and on the nose at times, but it doesn't even matter.
Straight kick-assery all the way through.

I've only played the game for a few (3) hours, but so far this is hands down the best AAA game I've played in a very long time.

So far the combat's visceral, dangerous and satisfying.

They're using some really weird but also really cool face tracking technology. All the actors are doing a great job, and weirdly enough the details show through on the faces. [The Janitor is amazing, best character of 2020 for sure]

The world is very cool - draws from SCP and MK-Ultra style aesthetics in a great way. It has to be said that the game feels AAA in a sense that it's a bit 'mainstream/diluted' in its presentation, but honestly as far as AAA's go, in my opinion, this game has more compelling character than a lot of other ones on the market.

Oh yeah, also really cool female protagonist.

One of the better iterations of the Dungeon Keeper formula with some Warcraft 3 style RTS thrown in the mix. I personally enjoyed the humour, but I can see how for some people it will be too much. The 4th wall is pretty much non-existent to the point where the narrator and the protagonist fight over who gets to say the lines of monologue.

Overall - great game though tons of content, and each DLC introduces something new or improves on the original formula.

One of the most beautiful games I've ever player. The puzzles do get a little stale by the end of the game, however the mysterious story, the thought provoking philosophising and the breathtaking surroundings carried me through the entire game. Doing the extra hard challenges to really understand the story was entirely worth it too!

Wouldn't spend more than £5 on the game so get it on sale.

It's got plenty of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up r-rated stuff and creepy occult stuff.

The atmosphere's pretty good as are the concepts.
The voice acting is pretty mediocre as is the plot.

I beat it in 2 hours or so, so it's super short.

Awesome game. I personally preferred the original free version of it since it had less quest and town nonsense, but still this is very nice <3

- Nice arcade-ish RTS. They've done a pretty good job at making it play well with controllers.

- The lack of a decent tutorial is a bit awkward at first but it doesn't take that long to pick up the mechanics. (Perhaps writing up a compendium talking about the demons and their moves might be a good idea. It would bring some extra flavour and lore as well as explain what each move does and what its purpose is.)

- Nice metal soundtrack, although I wish there was more. Battling through hellish landscapes to metal feels great!

- The story mode doesn't work when this was written.

- The level editor works and is reasonably easy to use.

For devs: the AI is definitely lackluster at this point in time with the enemies stumbling over terrain and not upgrading buildings they also seem to just stumble into your attacks and it's quite easy to pick them off. Online multiplayer might be nice.

Looking forward to more updates! <3

Very nice Diablo-esque dungeon crawler. The game is fun and engaging, with plenty of creative design decisions.
Some of my favourites are:
- choosing length of dungeon
- monsters having less health when you level up (it's a subtle but clever one)
- the card system is pretty great.
On top of that the game manages to be quite dark and light hearted at the same time.
It's sort of like a very well done Diablo lite.
Would recommend 10/10
