Just like Pokemon but without the 20 years of stagnation. Interesting mechanics differences and neat designs for the monsters.
And now you can pet the dog 12/10. Best game.

By far one of the best games I've played in a long time. Its easy to jump into and just do stuff, and has a great comunity and Devs too. Plus, its freeeeeeeeeeeeee~
