After 624 hours and 20 plus seasons with Man Utd on fm21 i decided it's time for a fresh start on this years entry! I've only just started as Ac Milan so far a lot of it is copy and pasted from fm21 but don't change what's not broken right.. The new match engine from what i have seen so far is a lot better but probably in a strange way the best new addition is the weekly or monthly staff meetings! it takes a LOT of random junk out of your inbox and lets you deal with it all in one go in the same place and is a simple but great addition imo.

If you play it every year like i have since waaay back when it begun then you should buy it! if you only just started with fm21 maybe wait on price reductions or get it cheaper outwith steam.

Overall i'm impressed i'll sink hundreds of hours into this insanely addictive game rage simulator like i do every single year and i recommend you do the same! why socialise when you can be a virtual football manager instead.

If i find any faults with the game i will update as of now i haven't had a lot of time with VAR decisions etc so i want to see if they really have improved them or if it's still disallowed goals every single time.

UPDATE: since this review i have had 4 awarded goals from VAR decisions so i am pleased to say they have fixed that which for me is a big relief, further use of the 3d match engine has shown a lot more of what it can offer and i must say the improvements to tackles and ball control in particular are amazing! players don't constantly press anymore, they don't walk into defenders and immediately lose possession, they control the ball properly and of course the more skilled they are the more variety you will see in how they play something that wasn't really possible on previous match engines. Sports Interactive deserve a lot of credit for this game :).

so far so good, Runs fine on my rig (i7 7700,strix 1080ti,16gb 3000mhz ram) on a mix of high and medium settings with amd fidelityfx enabled. Not encountered any gamebreaking bugs i have seen a couple of bugs though but nothing you wouldn't expect in a big game like this. love that it's first person and not a futuristic gta clone. Combat is fun and the city is stunning! with further patches for bugs and the ability to replay at least 3 times this games gonna be huge. Love the ability to choose pronouns and that there's no gender limitations. Plenty of hours of gameplay in this so if you want to immerse yourself in an RPG game this is now the best out there. Initially was on the fence but i'm glad i bought it.

Amazing improvements this year especially with the match engine! The changes to the general layout are actually really good as well. Defending has somewhat improved and the AI are certainly more intelligent this year. I've put thousands of hours into management games over the years and i can see myself putting hundreds more into this. Glad they have the Scottish Championship at the 28 game schedule it has in real life because of covid! Hearts career to get me into the game seeing as i'm a Hearts fan. the new gestures are a good addition but you really have to be careful as the wrong one will easily offend players. Pre match information looks much better now! i can't wait for some good skins to come out. There is a license fix already for juventus etc and club logos from fm 2020 work just copy and paste the folder to the same location for fm 2021 :). One last thing the load and save game times have majorly improved, The game loads and saves extremely fast compared to previous titles.

Honestly if you're on the fence i'd say buy it as it's definitely more than a glorified update this year it's a greatly improved experience.

Overall i would recommend getting this although not at full price i got mine on a key website for pennies and it was well worth what i paid but i am glad i never paid the full steam price. I played through the redux version as i heard the original version has some issues.

The story itself is good although some of it doesn't overly make sense. It's not a cheery upbeat game it definitely is darker and has a more eerie vibe to it. The game warns it won't hold your hand and it's correct there's no hud or anything like that you have to find clues etc yourself it can be a bit confusing sometimes but not overly.

Personally i won't play it through again but the scenic landscape and smooth gameplay did make it worth the few hours it took. If you want it then find it on sale somewhere.

The developers could make some really good games but for me personally this was only average not something that gripped me or made me excited to know more but despite this i think it deserves a thumbs up for the areas it does well in.

Ps. It runs perfectly fine no glitching, no stuttering, no clipping etc.

Absolutely love the storyline so far it's a big improvement over LIS 2 i know it's a different universe and not at all related but it's also very refreshing to have that. The transgender storyline is very personal to me and hits home a lot so i can completely relate. This will offend the easily offended but if trans people offend you go play one of the MANY games with cisgender main characters. I love how they have chosen this type of storyline as it's something games never do but it's a topic that needs to be included more so people understand it better. The game runs fantastic buttery smooth 144hz 1440p and looks great. I am excited for episode 2 releasing today and can't wait to play through it tomorrow. If you enjoy story driven games like beyond two souls and LIS etc then this is definitely worth buying even if you don't play much games like this the story is so deep that it's worth playing for that alone. This game compared to LIS feels like a more adult version wich is great and it has that grip on me that the original LIS did! LIS 2 didn't do it for me but this certainly has me hooked after only one episode, I've been close to tears more than once already.

I've played footballer manager since it began and i've played management games going all the way back to when they started out and i still to this day have the damn "just one more game" syndrome! :D this like most other fm games has it's problems and can be insanely frustrating but that's something that kind of makes me always come back! if i dominated all season long ( sometimes do ) then it'd get boring but having seasons that vary makes the game fun i don't know what's next or what trophy i'm in with a chance of winning that season because it can be very unreliable. regardless of if you've never played it or if you've played it for years i'd say this version is definitely worth playing :). I will say the biggest negative i have always had is the match engine i preferred the old 2d one or the text one on champ manager to what we get with this 3d one it needs properly fixed and the graphics could be made better not that it's important for a game like this but they could put more work into the 3d match engine wich i hope to see in future fm games. recommended but be prepared to get addicted.

It's fun, works well and has barely any bugs in comparison to dayz and scum! graphics are great and the gameplay is fun. I aint touched pvp yet and i can't stop playing :D as a solo player i expect the same abuse and KOS behaviour as good ol dayz :D i will update after i experience pvp but for now getting used to the map and gameplay has been really good. the crafting and base building puts other games to shame.

I want to like this but there's too many things about it that i can't get into... The towns mostly all looking the same with not much variety of buildings, the loot being pretty boring i know it is in most survival games but it gets a bit random and pointless at times in this! one of my biggest issues with the game is the puppets i find them a bit op at times wich in some ways is good as they can be a real threat however it is rather annoying at times. The optimization is ok for the most part i do get frame dips with a 1080ti and 16gb ram not often and that could depend on server lag etc but it still needs fixes. I do go back to this sometimes in the hope i can get into it but i just can't so i always go back to Dayz as it's the best of a bad bunch at the moment. I will come back to this again as it's early access and the updates look more promising each time so i won't give up on it just yet.

After completing this today i feel i should review it at least a little, The gameplay is fantastic as always from the hitman series and the different ways to kill people are still great and enough to give it replay ability the only downside i really noticed was a bit of stutter on certain levels, I tweaked the settings and fixed it a bit but i see a lot of people have this issue even those with better spec than mine (i7 7700,gtx 1070,16gb ddr4 3000mhz) however don't let it put you off as it's certainly not something that you notice when you're doing the missions and enjoying the gameplay. I am a little dissapointed at their only being 6 maps however i played it on professional so i can now go replay it all and do the missions in a completely different way on master difficulty :) something you can't do on many games plus the online contracts etc keep the game fun.

If you plan on buying this probably use the cdkeys website as i did because although i love it i'm not sure i'd pay the full steam price. Either way it is well worth playing.

I bought this in the winter sale so i got a big chunk off the price and it is the first sim racing game i have owned infact it's the first motorsports game i have owned in years! I enjoy watching sim racers and it's something i wanted to get into and i'm so glad i did. I play on an xbox 360 controller just temporarily until i get a wheel set up but it's playable on controller just fine once you tweak the settings a little ( loads of good guides online ).

First thing i noticed about the game was just how much content there is and i don't have the dlc....It has LOTS of tracks and cars and the career mode is rather in depth i play on mid length settings for races but when i get my wheel i plan on doing it all on full length settings.

The visuals are stunning the game maxed out easy on my rog strix 1070 and it looks amazing especially from the cockpit view they put a lot of work into the detail.

I have barely scratched the surface with this game yet i have done rookie formula racing, kart racing and ginetta and it's immensely fun. The difficulty level makes it even more fun once you find the right settings for yourself. I play on 50/50 at the moment and the races usually come down to the wire! I don't overly change the car set up as i am learning what most of that means (not a car guy) but i have found some tweaks that give me a slight edge. I play with damage on full and mechanical damage on as well i love the realism and i don't expect to have a high speed crash and continue flying around the track as if nothing happened...sure this would annoy people but it adds to the realism, The only downside of course being retiring from races or whatever and not finishing top 3 means restarting the entire series you are currently on.

I could rant on and on about what i enjoy about this game however can't say too much about the bad sides of it as i aint noticed too many. I'm sure seasoned sim racers could point out the flaws.

If i had to pay full price for this i wouldn't have regretted it i'm just lucky i got it in the sale.

Deffo recommend if you have the time to put into it it's so much fun :D
