When i grew up Tekken was incredibly generous with it's content. Tekken 2 in particular had a huge cast of characters and unlockables, Tekken 5 DR started the trend in character customisation. But it now this once awesome franchise wants to nickle and dime their players with every imaginable combination of purchasable MTX, Battle passes, seasonal character DLC and game currency. This an already expensive $100+ AU base game and the fact that they introduced all this ♥♥♥♥ 2 months after release to hide their intent. These developers can ♥♥♥♥ right off...

I wasn't going to leave a review but then i saw Bethesda placing asinine comments on negative ones.

to preface I've got all the achievements and 200+ hours in this game. Did i enjoy all of the time spent playing... no... I did the majority of this on one character because i didn't want to go through the tedious intro sequence. I also didn't like how narrow the playing options are first character i did unarmed melee this didn't play well and after some research found that this play style and melee in particular wasn't fun. There isn't any weapon progression no kill animations like Skyrim. So i had to create a new and last character. Skyrim a game that came out in 2011 has vastly more character and combat customisation also game i've yet to finish but have played numerous times....

The quests in this game are ok, but the companions are beyond ♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful. They're all one dimensional and act as a nanny to the player. They don't grow and i hated the romance achievement so i could go back to being solo.

My final thoughts for this game is to echo the sentiment of another review i read this game is a mile high and an inch thick. Theres no depth the game is incredibly shallow. I would love to see the return of a game with the complexity of Morrowind which to date is my favourite Elder Scrolls/Bethesda game.

Brought this a long time ago on sale an now i see there's definitive edition with Japanese voice acting and other quality of life features that I have to buy the game again for...

no performance issues thus far I just wish they would add PS4 controller support

Is good I like it. Needs a little more work but hopefull with mod support will become a grade
