Reminds of playing Starship Troopers custom maps from 20 years ago. The aesthetic of the movies is done very well. If you like the company of Heroes style of game then you will like this.

Early Access Review
Good combat, good setting, good trade, good sandbox.
I'd say it's total war meets Skyrim. Conquering cities with armies, but you are still directly controlling only 1 guy. The writing and quests aren't all done yet because it's still Early Access but it's a great sandbox that still needs to be filled with toys and I'm confident it will.

Endless replay value, good difficulty curve. Each character has their own playstyle and the mission can be finished in a variety of different ways.
