Have any of you seen the new Velma series yet? I haven’t, but one thing really bugs me: how could they replace Shaggy with a Black person? I’m not racist by any means, as a matter of fact, I say ♥♥♥♥ racists. This is totally unrelated to racial issues, however, and is just plain ridiculous. I get that they’re trying to make the show more woke, but they could’ve done it to any other character, like Fred or Daphne. Not only that, but they changed his name completely, yet had the audacity to keep his clothing, as if to rub it in our faces the fact that he’s been replaced! Shaggy is so iconic. You do not mess with the Shaggy.
