A complex auto-battler roguelike with the added bonus of facing your end game army against other players end game army in a tourtament style battle all to answer the question of who can out-meta who.

I played Dead Space years ago when i was like 20 and it was the first horror game that had a moment in it where I genuinely was too scared to continue, and I dropped it for 6 months before I finished it. This is on the same level as Alien Isolation, and Outlast. AND YET, somehow in the 2nd game, Dead Space 2, they made it even better.

garbage game, half boring unskipable cutscenes, half slowpaced uninteresting firefights with braindead enemies. waste of money and time

Be an authentic murderhobo and go loot lost ruins in search of wealth, power, and everlasting life, and realize when its too late to turn back that about 5000 other guys had the same idea.

Protip: Burn everything. It makes it easier for you.

After a year of playing, and the final release is out, I wanted to come back and edit the review. The game has been optimized over the past year as best as they can, its miles better from when it started, and if you get disconnected in game, you dont loose your hunter anymore. Glitches are still around but most of the game breaking flaws- like getting stuck in the map- have been patched.

Hunt Showdown is my new favorite game on steam, and it is my go to FPS for now. Nowhere else are the stakes as high, the gameplay as intense, and the mechanics and tactical decisions as diverse as they are in hunt showdown.

Be warned tho, you need to be the best to win matches. You will start out bottom rung, and if you are unable or unwilling to adapt to the pvp, you probably wont have a great time. If you are looking for a hyper-competitive FPS game with REAL tatical decision making and teamplay, than this is the game for you.

I want to like this game, but a hyper-competitive game like this cannot exist with this many round ruining glitches that kill you before you even get to fight- or happen durring critical moments that result in your death such as Temporarially disconnecting from the server for anywhere from 2-10 seconds. I recently vaulted THROUGH A WALL and am permanantly stuck and will have to kill my hunter. This is unacceptable ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that has been around since the beginning and still precists now. and while they fixed a lot of problems, they still have many more to go through.
