Do you want a rediculously fun and deep action game that's basically a boss-rush? Get this game. Do you want a fun game to play with friends? Hold off for now.

I've played Monster Hunter: World for literal days when it came out on consoles, and the game runs silky smooth on my relatively beefy PC rig. The game is still an absolute blast even after hunting all these monsters dozens of times before and it's a great starting point for newcomers to the series. It's one of my most favorite games
That said, multiplayer is a mess right now.

It's nearly impossible to join another person's game, and if you do there's no guarantee that the connection will last. Some of my friends have also had problems running the game or have had some pretty bad crashes.

For me though, I haven't been having any technical problems and I mostly play solo. I'm giving the game my recommendation because on those merits the game is a BLAST. Just know going in that there are issues with this game, and if Capcom has any sense they'll fix them as soon as possible.

If you want a good solo shooter with a solid campaign, don't get this game. If you want a tight and fast-paced competitive shooter like Overwatch, get Overwatch.

But if you want a cool MOBA game with FPS presentation and Left 4 Dead-style replayable co-op missions, then for the love of Minrec play this game.

Easily one of the best platformers I've played in a long time. It combines MegaMan's level design philosophy with mechanics from other games such as castlevania and DuckTales, but still manages to be be completely unique from those other titles. Unlike other retro-inspired games it uses the past as a guide rather than a crutch and pretty much nails the spirit of old 8-bit games. This is everything a modern-day "old-school" video game should be.
