Exactly as you remember it, maybe even a little better.

Dispite some strange balancing choices, you can tell the developers really love their game and want it to succeed.

The game is not really bad... it's more just... aggressively mediocre? I was really expecting a lot more considering I found over 200 hours of enjoyment from the first game. In comparison, I don't even really feel compelled to finish this one. Maybe pick this one up if its on sale, but if you want value for your money I would stick with the first game. If you don't like the first game you certainly wouldn't like this one.

Town instances are still a little laggy during peak hours, but the game now seems to stable and fully playable online even during the weekend.

Game not as advertised. It is currently impossible to play online. I will happily change the review when the situation is resolved. The game does come with an offline mode, but this means cooperative play (advertised on the steam page) is unavailable.

Enough content has been added since launch that the game is actually really fun. Sadly there is still a lot of in-game monetization, but its relatively easier to ignore now.

Its a rogue-"lite" that plays like Doom 2016 and it has slide jumping. What more could you possibly want?

I opened the game for the first time at 9pm. It took a full 25 minutes to get past all the crashes, restarts, ads, and popups JUST to get into a single match. Absolutely absurd.

RX 5700 AMD GPU (8GB VRAM), AMD Ryzen 3600 CPU (16GB RAM). No performance issues. No crashes.

No progression at all for loosing games on ladder. How do you expect us to get cards to play with?

60+ hours between pvp and the campaign. I unlocked a single cosmetic armor piece. What a joke of a progression system. Also, there were like... 8 total maps when I stopped playing? Most of them were terrible. The campaign did not have cooperative play. The forge tool did not exist. Overall, I feel like I paid full retail price for half of a game. Would not buy again.
