This game is bad. No other way around it.

Never played the old Shadow Warrior, and you don't need to. Hell, I'm sure the original was way better than this was.
I like humor in my games just as everyone else does, but all the humor the game has to offer is in the first 10 minutes. From there out it's just dry and empty refrences, constantly trying to go "Hey see, we made a joke about that one obscure thing!" The shooting mechanics are as follows; click to win. Swordplay is the same way, but now you have to be absurdly close to even try to land a hit.

It's not fun, pure and simple; I had even tried to put it on insanity mode just to bring some sort of challange, but was denied even that.

The only real joke here is that they are wanting $40-50 for this game. I bought this in the winter sale (it was around $6 if memory serves me right), but even at a huge discount, its not worth it.

Disclamer: I haven't owned and played a Call of Duty title extensively since Modern Warfare 2, so pardon if there are any mistakes in the review.

Besides the obvious "same Call Of Duty different name", Black Ops III is more than the usual AAA dissapointment.
To try to shake things up, they've added jetpacks and parkour elements a la Titanfall, to give the gameplay different twist. While I'm all for jumping and shooting, the maps that are provided were not designed with these mechanics in mind. Hell one map is so wide and flat its a wonder why they even bothered to keep the jetpacks. Lack of verticallity renders the only real twist that this game is trying to offer.

The player moves slower than molasses, the gun-play has stuck with the old formula of "stats don't matter, who can get a headshot first", the specialists are more or less the same just with different perks, the game will give you badges and exp for just pushing the w-key giving no incentive to actually play skillfuly.

I used to like Treyarch, when forced contracted to make a Call of Duty title every other year, they have at least attempted to try to shake things up, like the zombies, emblem creation, etc. But it seems to me whatever creative talent they had is gone, and now they too have fallen into the same repetitive boring formula.
It's not worth the $60, its not worth giving up 14.5gb of memory, it's not worth your time.

Dying Light is a zombie fighting survival game.

PRO:
-The Day/Night cycle is very well done and help build the atmosphere of the game as zombies scale to your level, so unless you join a friend who is just starting out, fighting is always a challenge no matter what time of the day.
-There's always a place to explore and scavenge, seriously like holy cow there's so much to find and look for I don't think you understand how much was put into the maps.
-Graphics aren't mindblowingly awesome but are gritty enough to really make you feel you are in a war-torn zombieland.
-The game doesn't shove crafting in your face. Like really all you need to craft early on is about 20 med packs, and you really don't need to do anything else. As a guy who really despises games who throw in crafting just to make it a selling point, it was reasuring to see that it wasn't a main focous of the development.
-Bashing heads dead or alive is so satisfying, really just seeing these litte buggers collapse to a well placed dome swing is just so rewarding in of itself.
-Mod suport!
-Night time is absolutely horrifying. During my time in the game I've never wanted to land once on the ground due to fear of what lurks below.

CON:
-Horrendously unoptimized. I've got a decent machine that can at least run these current gen types of games at high graphic levels, but all graphical features are either off or set on low.
-Freerunning isn't 100% ready, so you'll either be making jumps you didn't want or fall to your death multiple times.
-The game itself feels like it needed another month to squash out these bugs, though to their credit the dev team has been patching the game every 3 or so days, so at least they've been taking care of their baby (unlike most AAA games released these days).
-The main story really isn't something to sing praises, plot holes galore, uninteresting, tries to force emotion by taking lives of characters that aren't really estableshed, and the main villain acts like he's so deep and understands that humans are scum bla bla bla. All in all it takes maybe 4 hours if you power through missions like crazy.

TL;DR
7.5/10 if you like the number system. All in all just straight up fun zombie survival game that feels like it had lots of love put into it, something that you don't see in games of this caliber these days. Has bugs, but the developers have been patching this game to bring it to the high standards they've set themselves since release.
