Just incredible and any words wouldn't do it justice. So many layers to this game and at 60+ hours I still feel like there is plenty to do and explore.

First, if Sony is going to keep releasing their best games on PC, then I will keep buying and supporting them. I have missed out on Sony exclusives since I sold my ps2.

B) This game is beautiful. web swinging feels great, combat is snappy, Peter is full of whit and snark, the world is PACKED with stuff to explore and collect, JJJ Podcast berating me every minute while zipping around the city... I'm loving it so far.

My most surprising game of the last 10 years by far.

I've never been a big hunting fan, but this game is so peaceful chillin walking around the woods with my doggo looking for wildlife. The guns feel/sound great to fire and the RPG aspects of leveling your hunter skills/perks and leveling your dog give a great sense of progression. Really a fun and relaxing game to kill time. A little buggy during new releases but the devs seems to listen to community and are constantly adding new content.

Biggest disappointment of my gaming career. The first level of the campaign showed so much promise. It was like getting to pilot an avengers movie. Everything after that became a repetitive grind fest. Every level was the same 6 nameless enemies copy-pasted and the same building interiors. There are only two actual comicbook villain fights after the campaign. The gear/loot was essentially "find bigger numbers or trash it" because there weren't any passives that change the game in any meaningful way. It was pitched as a live service game and the devs talked about releasing a new hero per month. Well, it's now March 2021 and the game has 1 new hero. 2 different versions of Hawkeye do not count as a new hero.

I could go more in depth but I've already wasted enough time on this game as it is.

So much more than just a farming sim. Incredible game. Anything I could say would fall short of how much I recommend Stardew Valley.

Early Access Review
It looks like a standard diablo hack n slash but this game is so much faster. I found controller to be a perfect control scheme to keep up with the very twitchy nature of the game. Supergiant always has bangin' soundtracks and tight/intuitive controls; this game is no exception. They really nailed it with Hades, it's probably their best work yet. I usually don't like losing progression on death, but here it's actually been really enjoyable thanks to the mirror and the weapon aspects giving you a bit of a buff for future runs.

Be a jedi? Yeah, sign me up.

EDIT: After completing the game I have to say a little bit (a lot) more. No Spoilers.

First, I need more story driven single player games in my life. This was incredible. I don't need every game to give me choices and a million different potential conclusions. Sometimes, its nice to be along for the ride. It was wonderful to experience Cal's development and growth leading up to the big finish. Its like playing my way through a chapter of the Star Wars movie franchise, the story felt that complete to me.

Second, The game play was tight. I played on normal? difficulty and it felt so good to land some of those parries and reflecting those blaster bolts back at troopers. Just a really satisfying game to play in my opinion.

Third, The voice actors really knocked it out of the park. All of them deserve some praise for specific moments in the story that really drew me in but I don't want to give any spoilers so I'll just say that Cameron Monaghan (Cal Kestis), Elizabeth Grullon (Trilla Suduri), and Travis Willingham (Jaro Tapal) were the big standouts for me. Jaro Tapal might even be one of my favorite jedi ever.

TLDR; I loved it.
