Although the critics were harsh on this game (and I can admit, it's not flawless), I still enjoyed the hell out of it! I enjoyed the City-Wide Larping events, the crazy missions, and although the plot is resolved perhaps a little too soon, and the empire-building feels a bit more side-quest than it should (despite being forced in as you are required to build as you go), it's still a fun game.

I enjoyed the combat (kind of fun to just rampage), the characters (as one-dimensional as they are, they are still enjoyable), the main plot was pretty cool, the style unlocks can really let you tailor your character and if they made more DLC for this game, I'd play it.

This isn't a game to take super-serious. It's not as wacky as SR4, but it's still a good time!

Game is broken. Too many bugs to play at all. I mean, I'd love to play it, but I can't even establish the first encampment... so I can't progress with the story. it's like being black-flagged on the first lap. Should have gotten a refund. It's unplayable.

Playing with a friend and it's been a blast. Bosses are challenging, there really isn't leveling in the traditional sense (you just keep crafting better gear). The crafting isn't too overwhelming (you need to farm, but you don't need to sit and spend hours upon hours whacking rocks and trees). The upgrades get better as you progress and your weaknesses become less annoying as you find new ways to overcome them.

It's been a great game to unwind with. Difficult, but not overwhelming. A little grindy, but not boredom-inducing grindy. Good balance for a fantasy RPG. I wish the vampire aspect was a little more pronounced (although I'm not sure how; you basically build gothic castles, drain people of blood, transform into animals and avoid the sun), but I can't complain. Been playing roughly 80 hours and plan on playing 80 more.

Cons: If the server you're on decides to call it a day, it's time to start over... jus' sayin'.

Honeslty, the Randian-style politics and noir style sold me on this game. Combat is alright. I kinda feel like the Adam element is a bit shoehorned in, but I do like the fact you can use it to discover new places.

Great game, although I suppose I'm way past this game's prime in my review. It deserved it's laurels.

It reminds me of a SUPER messed up "Burger Time". You basically sling orders at customers while making sure you keep on top of your umm... "Supply"... of "meat" and cloth. It gets a bit intense as you try to keep your husband/wife team on top of all of the daily business. Cooking, cleaning, gardening, stocking the displays, butchering, murdering, storing people in your attic... Good times!

Starts slow, the closer you get to the end, the more scenes there are, so just be patient! This game likes to tease you with little tidbits before delivering a buffet of crazy stuff, so stick with it!

I haven't played a game like this in a long time and that is a compliment to this game.

Gameplay reminds me a cross between Zelda and the old PS1 game "Medieval" in tone and humor. The crow-character is cool (black crow with a shining red sword, or green daggers, etc) , but still tilts it's head in confusion, just like a bird. Also, I love the fact that you can find "Shiny things" in the game you collect and gather at your desk in the office.

The difficulty level is frustrating in places, but then you learn the patterns and gain ground. I took a few breaks from a particular boss, but I never rage-quit. Just went for a spot of coffee, sat back down and tried to figure out the best way to attack the problem and managed to win (the upgrade system is a little weak, so don't think a few levels are going to give you THAT big of a boost, just keep hacking, the game keeps you from going anywhere too far over your head). The humor is great, the soundtrack is good enough to where I enjoy listening to it while I'm reading and it's been a real pleasant way to spend my evenings.

Totally recommend this game!

Okay, so this game is a blast... but it is buggy as hell, and I recommend you saving your progress OFTEN. It's actually gotten worse over time and it's damn annoying.

That said, I love the characters, the slightly ribald missions, the DLC is totally worth it as well as it adds all kinds of flavor to the experience. My issue is I used to run this on my old computer and it would seize maybe once every like two hours or something... the way things stand with my modern rig, it's locking up every bloody twenty minutes.

So, long story short, it MIGHT run just fine for you, and it's totally a cool game (I've played the hell out of these since SR 2, even the ultra-crazy stuff in SR 4 and SR: GOH. I enjoy the series, I wish they'd patch this sucker though!

Words cannot do this game justice. I picked it up, and didn't play it for years after I got it. I finally got around to it, and this game has me buying the books and wanting to join a tabletop group for more like this!

The combat is decent, the graphics are a bit outdated (game is from 2004), the upgrades are well-balanced and the racial abilities are divine!

I played through as a generic, artsy vampire to come back and play as an insane Malkavian. I would HIGHLY recommened replaying the game as one as the dialogue is laugh-out-loud funny, and crazy amounts of fun to mess with people. The writing is brilliant for Malkavian characters (although the outfits for a female malkavian make me wonder if they had a special ass-fetish).

The characters are memorable and it has a gritty, max-payne-esque vibe with limited superpowers and the ability to power yourself using your vampiric abilities.

Cool game, I've played through it like three times and I plan on playing through three more!

GET THE PATCH. Don't waste an hour looking for any H-scenes like I did (if you were looking for a kind of retro-Final Fantasy game, this would almost qualify as they locked out just about every bloody thing)... just get the patch off their website and the game is what you paid for. It also corrects the annoying screen-sizing issues.

The controls take a minute to get used to, but the combat is pretty easy if you focus, and "powering up" is worth the time to do. That said, I wish you had a bit more control over your party to level up their own "skills" outside of combat.

All in all, it's not quite "Melty's Quest" as the animations don't always pair up to what you're doing, but it's still a fun game with plenty to keep you entertained!
