The story is okay and progresses well enough with an interesting world and premise, although it kinda has a weird "big strong man saves helpless woman" vibe going on despite the fact that the big strong man (Monkey) is literally enslaved by Trip and doesn't have much say in if he should help her. I rather enjoyed the gameplay elements, specifically the climbing and jumping from spot to spot, which reminded me of when I first played Uncharted. The combat mechanics have great animations but are incredibly repetitive. The graphics and environments still hold up quite nicely despite being over a decade old. Overall a solid 7.5/10 game.

Great conclusion to the Dishonored series. Ties up several loose ends regarding the Outsider and the history of the Void. Playing as Billie Lurk is a joy and seeing Daud again in a supporting role is fun. Gameplay is very similar to the main games so if you played and enjoyed those, you're sure to enjoy this.

The Mafia games always had incredible writing with such great characters. Mafia 1 and 2 also, especially 2 in my opinion, have great gameplay that doesn't feel numb. This is where Mafia 3 fails. The gameplay after the initial heist mission and ensuing chaos is a repetitive mess. The open world isn't even that ambitious either. It's more open than Mafia 2 as it tries to have you do other activities, but these activities are just random fetch and grab missions where you have to drive to the swamp and take it to a safehouse wherever in New Bordeaux. There's also some races but I never cared for those in open world games like this. If they had activities like what we see in GTA or The Witcher 3 or even some Assassin's Creed games, then the open world wouldn't feel so boring. Exploring the city is a joy though, New Bordeaux is beautiful. And my main issue with the repetitive gameplay was how predictable each part of the game was. You go through territory after territory killing random people, rushing gang spots to bring a boss out of hiding and then kill them. This is the whole game. It grows weary when you realize you've been playing the same routine for 30 hours. I really wish it was more like Mafia 2 where it concentrated on a solid story without the mundane action. The only pleasing thing about the gameplay were the different areas it brought you.

Anyway, I really loved the story but wow they really butchered the gameplay.

As typical from Remedy, really great story. The gameplay is incredibly unique too, although the gun fighting can be repititive. The acting from Shawn Ashmore, Dominic Monaghan, and Aidan Gillen is great too. I hope they make a sequel as the epilogue does leave it open ended.

Wow

Really great game. Great story, great graphics, great sound design, great level design. Only think that might be a con is the repetitive fighting system. But it was cool since not every game has this kind of fighting system, so it was unique in a way. Anyway, definitely get this game on sale for a quick 8 hour story that you'll enjoy.

When it comes to Star Wars games with a solid story, nothing beats KoToR and KoToR. However, the story and writing in The Force Unleashed is pretty good. I rather enjoyed it. The downside of the game is that the actions are quite repetitive and the game itself can be quite difficult. However, if you level up the character correctly and play the game on easy, you should have no issue beating this one. I'd recommend it for the story.

Oblivion is pretty old but still really enjoyable (despite the every now and then crash). If you've played Morrowind then you've likely played Oblivion. But if you've only played Skyrim, give this a swing. The story is solid, graphics aren't that bad, the music and sound effects are great, and there's plenty of stuff to do.

I've played all of the Hitman games and this is arguably my favorite one yet. The numerous options, large levels, the story and how it's set years after the prior games, the graphics and voice acting, it just surpasses and improves upon all of the old Hitman games.

I really enjoyed the strength and mystery of the story. The shadow groups that work behind the ICA are intriguing as they try to outpower each other. I also enjoyed the amount of growing interest Diana has in Agent 47's origins, as she never really was keen on it all these years. I also enjoyed the fact that each contract/mission had seperate stories but were ultimitately intertwined in the Providence conspiracy. It felt perfect for the Hitman universe.

The level designs are amazing. The fact that they're so vast creates an incredible playground for Agent 47, there are so many opportunities for each assasination, opportunities to create distractions, etc. and so forth. I've only gone through each mission once, but there's so much room for replayability, as well as the featured contracts. I'm only disappointed that I didn't get to play the elusive target missions.

The best levels have to be Sapienza and Marrakesh. The sprawling markets and urban areas in both levels made them intense as well as full of life and atmosphere. I think they'll go down as some of the best levels in Hitman's history.

The sound editing and mixing in this game is also incredible. At time, the sound and background noise felt so real as if you were really there. This game is awesome really.

9.5/10

I haven't played the newest Hitman or Absolution yet, but I think Blood Money is still regarded as the best Hitman game from the first four. The plot is arguably the strongest as it deals with both calculated assassinations for money and the falling apart of the ICA. It also helps put together a firm timeline following the events of Contracts, which was mostly a game of flashbacks.

If you played Contracts, then you know that Agent 47 is remembering missions as he recovers from a gunshot wound. In Blood Money, the first three missions are set before he's shot. He's shot following Curtain's Down in Blood Money, which is the opera mission (also in Contracts, confusing, right?). After that, the story really deals with Diana assigning 47 missions while also gathering information on the Franchise. They're basically a rival/elite group who want to destroy the ICA.

One of the game's greatest assets has to be its OST. From the original songs to the added orchestra, Blood Money has one of my favorite video game soundtracks, right up there with Max Payne 3.

In terms of gameplay, the game is really unique. Most stealth games usually are, but IO Interactive manages to capitalize on a game about an assassin and make it an actual stealth game. Being that the Hitman titles have existed for years, you'd think Ubisoft would have taken notes when developing Assasssin's Creed. Hiding in plain sight has always been a Hitman signature and they managed to not make it so easy to be caught with Blood Money. I know in some of the previous ones, guards were always seeing through my outfit for whatever reason. In Blood Money, you actually need to act suspicious in order to be caught. Which was a nice change.

Definitely my favorite Hitman game. 9.5/10
