The MTX store is incredibly overpriced for what it is, it shouldn't exist in the first place because the game isn't even finished yet. It's clearly an attempt to try and milk as much cash as possible from the few remaining whales before the games inevitably on life support/cancelled, because the player base has dwindled to sub 2k numbers, and with Diablo 4 on the horizon, it's only going to get worse.

Neck got snapped, but at least i got $5.

With the most recent patch, there are occassional stutters, however the game is still playable albeit the stutters can come at REALLY inconvenient times, which will inevitably lead to a death followed by obscenity shouted at the monitor.

What most people writing reviews don't seem to realise is that if you subscribe to SOE all Access, you get access to all the DLC packs for £8.99 a month.

This game is absolutely amazing, if you're a fan of the Lord of the Rings lore, as well as the Batman Arkham line of games, this is a match made in heaven with only improvements being made.

The voice acting, gameplay, and story (so far) has been absolutely top notch and well worth the money paid.

I am definitely going to be keeping my eye on monlolith games for future releases, as this game is most definitely a contender for game of the year.

This game will not hold your hand, unless you play it on the easiest setting, which i highly advise against.

Combat is harsh and punishing, think of it as a sort of "Dark styles esque" combat style, it's a good game, the story and narrative is amazing, and i would definitely recommend purchasing it, especially at it's current £15 price tag.

You can sink many hours into this, and it also has mod support, so go nuts! Don't get the wrong impression though, Witcher 2 IS an open game, however it ISN'T as open as skyrim.
