Overall Impressions
Reviewed after 100% completion. LEGO and Star Wars is a great match, and this modern take on the formula is a treat for fans of either.

What I Liked
The game is MASSIVE and utterly sprawling. Nearly every location from all nine films has at least some in game representation. Something like 200 playable characters, and nearly as many star-ships.. it's almost overwhelming in it's vastness of choice.

The casual nature and sheer approach-ability of this game was really refreshing. I'd love to get off work after a busy day and just mess around with Boba Fett for a bit. Or explore one of the planets I hadn't yet been to. Or jump in my beloved B-wing (favorite ship) and blast apart some LEGO TIE fighters. It's easy enough for kids, but I never felt that I was left out.

There are so many jokes strewn through that I legitimately laughed out loud at several points. But overall I would say this game has a slightly more serious tone then previous LEGO Star Wars Games. I feel this works in it's favor.

What Could Be Improved
I did run into a few bugs unfortunately. The game would crash semi-frequently on steam deck. I also had some UI bugs like new item indicators that just would not go away for the remainder of my play-through. But overall I feel these were minor, and I was still able to fully enjoy what was on offer.

Final Thoughts & Rating
As a long time Star Wars fan and occasional LEGO builder, I had a great time with this game. I decided to go for completion, and only in the final ~20 hours was I starting to burn out.

A Great Star Wars Game, and worth your time!

Reviewed after 100%. What can I say that hasn't already been said about Hades? This is truly a modern classic and pushes the rogue-lite genre in new directions all the while retaining Supergiant Games' renown coating of polish.

What I Liked
This game is a masterclass in game design. From the art direction to the lovingly crafted (Thousands!) of lines of dialogue. I am not even joking when I say that I was still hearing new voiced dialogue in my interactions after well over 100 hours. The whole experience is brimming with charm, and comes wrapped in a package that you rarely see from AAA studios.

The game-play loop may seem difficult at first, but it's in place to teach you the mechanics. Once you've mastered the boon system, you'll be saying "just one more run" in order to try a new combo you may have thought of..

What Could Be Improved
There really isn't a whole lot I would change about this game. Even after 120+ hours in, I was still captivated. My only real gripe is after so much playtime, the 3 basic environments can get a little stale. If there is one thing I could request for Hades 2, I would hope there is more environment variety.

Final Thoughts & Rating
If you like rogue-lite style games and have somehow missed this one, do yourself a favor and play it immediately. I'd probably put this in my top 10 games of all time category.
