This is my first review for a game on Steam.

I am enjoying the game so far with my friend, as I am guessing this game was intended to be experienced as a co-op RPG adventure. Seeing the studio and what they had access to I am glad that they were able to make the game they did. I enjoy finding out all the different recipes for everything that you can make, my friend and I keeping certain crafting limited to each our characters (e.i. I usually make the weapons and armor, he makes the potions and food), which keeps things fun as in turn during outings I would carry the heavier loot like weapons, where he would carry the lighter like alchemy supplies or food.

The only real problem we encountered so far is some items falling through the world but at the same time we just spam the pick up button anyway when we are trading most the time, like in Dark Souls even things falling through the world happens but meh, doesn't really hurt the experience all too much. Combat was a bit to get used to but I feel it is to be expected, you start out with almost nothing and having to earn the trust of those around you, and through proving yourself you can earn that trust and in turn learn something yourself. That is what I appreciate about this game, it doesn't really point you in a clear direction and lets you find things out for yourself. Yeah, bandits might kick your ass but... isn't it about time? Bandits have been getting their ass kicked in games since as long as I can remember, when it happened to me and I got actually captured? I was actually really happy because from there you can do so many things to try and get away from your captors. Honestly, I think the game says it best, "You are not a god, nor a chosen one. The path before you is fraught with perils."

Reading some of the reviews I can understand where people are coming from, its not a perfect game but at the same time I feel alright with that. I am alright with not being able to go into every single house I come across, can you do that in real life? I feel people would lock their doors when they are away so people can snoop and steal from their homes... but maybe that's just me. Also, in new towns you are a stranger and most of the time, even in real life, people have things to do and are just getting on with their days. So again, I understand why not you can't talk to everyone... not everyone wants to talk to 'you'.

I am looking forward to continuing this game with my friend as we are both enjoying it.
