ok so where do i start with godus well i could easily sum up godus with one word disapointment!

why you ask well heres why

firstly godus is suposed to be the game we have allways wanted. a game where you have the complete power to be god. yeah sounds great right i wanna buy it now your proberly thinking.... well don't for the god sake (see what i did there) don't buy it trust me you will be angry at not only your self but the game to.

so why do i hate the game so much well lets see...

when you start the game theres as small turtoral which helps you understand the game and its features, however this was only added recently before the game would just be like here you are knock your self out....
which is my first reason i hated this game even with the tutorals the game struggles to explain even its most basic features of the game. which if your like me will put you off the game early on.

now in to the first 10 minites of the game you will be spending time sculpting the land to your choice(sounds fun right) WELL ITS NOT! the land sculpting is so basic its like the develpers did not even want to add it in to the game. after you play around with the land your first followers start to form togahter under your rule and guess what? thats not even fun to!!! once your followers start to apper they need shelter or homes and get this.... YOU CANNOT EVEN CHOSSE WHERE YOU WANT PLACE YOUR FOLLOWERS HOMES!!!! the most basic and common thing we see in a city or town builder or what ever this games genre type is. is not even there the abilty to place the buildings where you want them.... please fix this soon...

so after that your regin of power over the lands increse allowing you to change the land farther and place more followers to build there. but this is where the game will just say **** it its your job now after you build a few homes for your followers thats it. theres no way of knowing what to do next. my guess there gonna exstend on that later on with a extra tutoral.

all you get is these blue and purple blobs that apper above the followers homes which you click and it gives you points to use your god powers. yeah sounds like it could work if you could USE THE DAMN GOD POWERS!!! ive only played the game for 7-8 hours cause thats as humanly possible i can bear it and ive not used a single good power other than the sculpt power.

and another thing is this game a single player or a multiplayer game? i cannot tell cause if you can suvive long enough without tearing your own eyes out of bordem you will have the abilty to attack other gods (or should i say your forced to with out any admisson on your part) and when this happens you get a chat page come up with some random dude or girl talking to you? is it ai or is it a real person theres noway of telling.

that brings me to the (what i think is the worst part of the game) the battles.....
before you can battle you have to build as quickly as possible agenst your apponet and once you reach a certain point in the match you can attack each other? at least i think because i turned the game off almost straight away when i got to this part.

another reason is the devolpers have sort of given up on the game. or they simply dont listen to any of the fourms of angry or disapointed people. which is a shame because on paper this game sounded great like something we have being wanting for a long time but in the end it was just a waste of time for us gamers.

but the game is still in early acsess some how at 43% in to beta? now idea how thats possible because the game still feels like and alpha. which is another reason this game is in beta and it still feels like a game thats been in alpha for a few mouths . but as i said the game is still in early alpha which mean it still has a chance to redeem its self. and with an update on the works the game may have the justice it deserves.

now i have put the game down a lot in this review but lets talk about the things that worked and could still work.

firstly the graphics sure its basic but the cartoon like design gives the game a really good look and feel. theres a tect tree in the game which looks very promising as its almost like the tect tree in civ 5 (sorry civ 5) the god powers are good when you can USE THEM! and the battles after the have that horrible building part before are quite fun (from what ive hear atleast)

so overall the game is a complete mess at the moment but im praying when the next update comes out maby it will fix or atleast help out an allready struggling game.

graphics: 6/10 cartoon like but looks great
gameplay: 3/10 click wait for 5 minties click agein wait for 5 minties and repeat. so in other words boring :(
replay vaule: 2/10 after one playthogh you wont wanna come back :(
verdict: very boring which is sad to say but i wouldent buy it for its current price wait for a sale.

my scores and the review will proberly change in the future once some updates are made and when it does i shall talk about the new update as an edit other wise thanks for reading and hope this helps.
