Amazing rogue-like and this is coming from someone who typically hates these. Every run is different in a way that is fun and not a drag. Game is hard to explain why it's so fun, but just try it out and you'll be sucked in

While the game still has some minor bugs and QoL issues, for it's price point it is 100% worth it. If you are a Harvest Moon/Stardew Valley fan you will find a lot to love. The lore is diverse and seems to have some deep parts to expand on for future DLC and updates. The art and music is also fantastic and the game is easy on the eyes to watch and play!

Amazingly fun game, but I wouldn't recommend right now because of crashes. I spend about 20-30 minutes just seeing if the game will load up or let me into a match. Once this is resolved this game is a total buy, avoid until then.

Literally can't play it without editing game files and game seems to actively be fighting me as if it likes crashing. Might be a fun game, but wait to buy on PC until the crashes are fixed.

Edit: finally got it to work and the game is a blast to play and is running a lot better, but crashes and matchmaking are still a nightmare. I've changed my recommendation to a Yes, but honestly what really has me worried is the monetization of items, but for $40 you'd be hard pressed to find a much better game to play with your buds out there right now

Obviously marred by issues on release with it really hurting computers that aren't top of the line, but this is a situation where I feel Paradox has done well and garnered enough trust with me where I feel comfortable recommending this game right now as I believe it's only going to get better. That being said, if you're on the fence for whatever reason, feel free to wait because I have no doubt that this game will run nice and smooth by the beginning of 2024.

Pros:
Road/ system is updated and beyond useful compared to vanilla Cities.

Maps are HUGE and the amount you can unlock each milestone feels balanced.

Implementation of "perks" feels like a cool way to customize cities.

Traffic AI is great and while they'll do goofy stuff often, they are much smarted about their routes and traffic doesn't back up nearly as easy as it did in vanilla Cities.

Music/Radio makes the city feel more "real"

Some cons:
The Parks and Unique buildings section feels pretty underwhelming and while I know it's a new game, I can't help but miss some of the customization options related to the College, Hotels, and Airports DLC from the Original Cities.

Zoning is still not optimal as what the game thinks is the best zoning layout for a road is not always the one I want for my road.

(I might just be bad but) landscaping is still very difficult for new players, and old players who just don't understand it.

Bugs.

Bonus Con:
No Australian Shepherd skins for dogs

A lot of people claim it's just a reskin of Warband, which I can see their viewpoint, but this game is a much needed improvement over Warband and the devs are committed to making it even better. My biggest complaint of Warband is how much it needs to be modded to make it more fun whereas all those things are included in the base game of Bannerlord. Excited for this games future.

Awesome strategy game. Takes some time to get used to if you're fresh off XCOM: EU but still great
