Sadly I can't recommend the game as it currently stands. But I do have hope that it'll be fixed in time and will try it again in future.

Great game, excellent execution of the theme, art and music.

I had a few technical issues during the tutorial where the game was determined to interpret my keyboard as a console controller but I managed to work around it. The game has a small learning curve but once you have the gist of it it's pretty straightforward.

Each match plays out quite differently so there's quite a bit of replayability there. It's quick to find an opponent on the online multiplayer and it allows you to play with others using the expansion even if you only own the base game.

(Devs if you see this please add a ranking system for multiplayer)

I used to play this as a kid, it's excellent even today as a more budget friendly version of battle chess. Happy to see its made its way on to steam.

I bought this game as I've recently taught myself to touch type, I'm looking to increase my typing speed and wanted a game that would keep me entertained while doing so. Epistory does the trick and the presentation is really nice. I find that the controls can be a bit clunky at times but the concept is really good, I'm not really someone who is into puzzle games and this has become a little repetitive at times but I'm steadily working my way through the main story, I enjoy the arena mode a bit more as it's easier to jump in and have a challenge quickly.

I find that Epistory sometimes feels like a very simple version of Lost Kingdoms from the GameCube (which is going back a bit but a compliment).

Be aware though that Epistory does not teach you correct finger placement on the keyboard so if you don't want to reinforce bad habits you should learn the basics elsewhere first.

I found a much better price for the game elsewhere online and would recommend checking isthereanydeal.com to see whats out there. The full price on steam is a little steep.

Overall I'm happy I bought this game and there is a pretty high chance I will buy the sequel once I finish it.

It's great, I was reluctant to spend any money thinking 'why would I spend anything when I can get wallpapers for free online' but I can see now that I should have got it years ago. If you spend a lot of time gaming etc this will really make your set up so much better and you can have a lot of fun playing around with different backgrounds to match your mood (it's especially good if you are using more than one monitor). I had a quick go at animating a nice photo I took on holiday and it was quite easy so there is fun to be had there too. I'm surprised Microsoft haven't made animated wallpapers a built in thing yet. Wallpaper engine is very cheap to get and not usually cheaper to buy anywhere other than Steam so my recommendation would be to sell any steam trading cards you have accumulated to put a little money towards this.

A must buy pack if you are into robots, it adds some nice flavour to the game even if you are not playing as a robot species and a lot of effort has gone into changing all the text and techs etc to make sense when you are playing as robots. It also adds a selection of different advisor voices which was a big deal for me immersion wise and because the default voice began to grate on me. It's a good dlc but Utopia should be bought first.

I like this pack the portraits are good and the ship set is cool, I especially love the science ship which has a nice animation when it scans, It adds some nice flavour to the game. Only buy on heavy sale as this is just a small cosmetic DLC and if you like plants.

War Thunder is great fun and I played a lot in the past but I got tired in the end with the length of the grind to progress without paying. Also you end up having to just ascend for what seems like forever to dive bomb on people and kill them in one second or the same happens to you. I enjoy how the 'lives' system works where you take a finite number of vehicles into each match.

The game is ok and some graphical elements are really nice like when you colonise planets but overall for me Stellaris is better in so many ways.

Stellaris is a great game, there are many detailed reviews so I'll keep mine brief - Before buying I could'nt decide between Stellaris and Endless Space 2, I chose wrongly and went for ES first, Stellaris is much more fleshed out with a lot more variety each game and more replayability. Take a look at the videos by ASpec on Youtube to get a real feel for the game. p.s only buy on sale, you will probably want to get a couple of dlcs to enjoy the game properly but which ones depends on what you're into.
