Great auto-battler. Allows a lot of scope for varying strategies, without any feeling particularly unbalanced, or like they don't have a counter - losing often feels like your fault, and winning feels like the product of your skill.
It also it doesn't require you to have fast reflexes. It's turn-based and an auto-battler, so once you've placed your wee mechs, off they toddle to go fight the battle for you. Some won't like this, but for someone like me who would never play RTSes online because I'd get crushed by some child with a vibrating index finger, it's fantastic. Awesome game.

This is a Phasmophobia rip with scripted events that replay exactly the same way, and less interesting ghost interactions. I don't use rip lightly: the majority of the items are the same, and operate the same way, the language the game uses is the same (ghost names, item names, evidence types - everything), and the core gameplay loop is largely the same, down to narrowing ghost options from a list in a journal, by clicking on evidence you've found. If you're going to borrow so heavily from another game, you need to find an innovation beyond 'the graphics are nicer' to be successful, in my opinion.
This may change in the future as it is early access, but without further development, this is just flashy graphics to lure you in, without the substance.

With the new immortal empires mode, this game is an actual masterpiece. I don't think we'll see it's like, in terms of size, depth, and scale, for a long time to come: who in their right mind would set out to create this horrifyingly complex monstrosity?

It's incredible.

This is a game designed to make you feel cool, and it succeeds. Nothing quite like avoiding a sniper shot by blasting the dude in the chest in slow motion, while you barrel-roll through the air.
The artwork and design is absolutely beautiful too.

Very addictive gameplay. It's quite a simple game on the surface, but the developer is adding new stuff all the time, and there's complexity to be found below it. Scratches the itch for me; have regularly played into the small hours!
