Like left 4 dead, but with leveling up and unlocks.

Pretty fun so far. Took me about 5 hours to beat the first level, but after I understood the mechanics, I'm not doing too bad.

Claimed someone was a murder, followed her around the next game with someone, she got mad and murdered me right in front of the other person. 10/10 would get murdered again.

The music in this game sets the mood for everything. Fun game. The feels.

As a long term Monster Hunter fan, this itches that scratch that I have while waiting on Iceborn to release.

You can unlock many skills per weapon, as well as many special abilities. Great for those people that love unlocking stuff.

Experiment with different abilities / skills and crush those aragrami! Also, tape.

As a Monster Hunter fan from the PSP / PS2 era, this port is amazing as far as gameplay.

I do recommend holding off until they fix some of their port issues, as it is sending everyone away. Once they fix matchmaking / mouse acceleration / graphical issues / keybinding, this will be 10/10 for sure.

Holy crap. 10/10. I freaking love this game.

The voice acting, the writing, the gameplay, the customization, the secrets found in the darkest corners... Ahhh!!

I'm playing with my friend who is playing a rogue. He tries to keep all the treasure to himself. One time I stole his treasure, so he backstabbed me (literally!). Fortunately, I am a hydrophorist and I froze his butt and proceed to rain lightning on his head. He won't be messing with me anytime soon!

I haven't played for long, but I thought I'd get a quick match in before I went to bed. I had a blast! I got my butt handed to me, but I was laughing the entire time. I managed to get a kill or two, super thrilling! This will probably be my 'hey, I've got 15 minutes to burn, let's play a match' game. Super fun!

If you enjoy being able to destroy entire bases with one ability use, you will enjoy this. You can literally just jump over a base, shoot one of these, and kill every single enemy there, as long as they are all somewhat close to one another. This one shots all 'normal sized' enemies and chain reaction destroys everything else.

For those who enjoy a challenge, I would not recommend this (unless you just want to use it for watching chain reactions of people blowing up). I'll admit, I enjoy challenges, but for some reason I keep using this. I suppose it is enjoyable to be overpowered every once and a while and destroy the crap out of everything.

As most other reviewers have stated, this game is not minecraft. You don't ever have to build anything, unless you want housing for NPCs to stay in. If you want to build, you could build yourself a giant trap maze to destroy a goblin army invasion. You could build yourself a dungeon and let your friends go through it. The possibilities are up to your imagination.

Anyways, I personally don't build much, unless it is for super efficient farming (harvest hundreds of items for potions automatically? Yes please!) I also enjoy building an arena to battle bosses more easily. (Nothing beats having plenty of moving space while fighting bosses!)

If you like progression, you will love this game. Progression is one of the main reasons I play games. I'm a huge MMO player, I love the challenge to always better my gear. This game has some of the best progression ever. There are literally over 15 tiers of armor end game. Not only does armor give you defense, but it also gives you special bonuses (note, there are many many 'horizontal tiers', IE, you can get the same armor value, with different bonus effects, which can give you an alternative playstyle, IE, tank, mage, gunman, archer, melee, utility man, and one of my favorites, STAR CANNON MAN (yes, you shoot literal stars with a cannon)). Now, the latest MMO I have been playing has me stuck at the highest tier, because there is no more progression. I have yet to reach the highest tier of this game, yet, I have been playing for many countless hours.

That is just the armor. There are still TONS of weapons and TONS of accessories. Best part about the tiering system for these guys? Lots of the time, the items you find for your current tier can be used to craft the next tiered item! Now, some of you might say "but, I don't feel like getting all the tiered equipment!", don't fret! As I've stated before, there are several horizontal tiered items, you don't have to craft everything, you could just go slay a boss, or you could traverse a dungeon and find the legendary masamune! Perhaps you'd like to just explore underground peacefully, maybe you could dig a hole in the ground and find yourself a nice spear to STAB MULTIPLE ENEMIES AT A TIME. There are so many ways to obtain new unique equipment.

What's even more awesome? Suppose you went to the dungeon, fought your way through hundreds of skeletons and floating skeleton heads to find your Muramasa. You finally find it. The reason you came to the dungeon in the first place. Buuuuuut... suppose you want to take your new shiny Muramasa sword for a spin. So you decide to go deeper into the dungeon. You find another golden chest, and you just so happen to have a golden key from that giant ooze that was literally sliced and diced by your new shiny sword. You open the chest, wondering what will be inside. You see another Muramasa and think to yourself.. Hmm.... Why would they give me another Muramasa? I don't need this... BUT THEN, you read that it is THE LEGENDARY MURAMASA! Holy crap!! You've never seen anything like this in the game! This Legendary Muramasa is in every single way shape and form better than the one you picked up. Thank goodness you decided to go a little further! Enemies stand no chance against you and the legendary demon sword, Muramasa.

Anyways.... There is so much to do in this game. The #1 key attribute to me is the mass amounts of progression. Give the game a try, it's only $10. Ask any of your friends who have played it. I have yet to actually play with anyone else, but, I can imagine how exciting it would be if playing with friends! Oh the hilarity that will ensue when your friend walks into your awesome new house you made, ONLY TO BE LOCKED IN WITH LAVA POURING OUT THE WALLS! NOOOOOOO!!!! Oops, he must have triggered your new shiny trap you made as a nice greetings for him. Too bad for him.

TL;DR; Progression rocks, thus, this game rocks.
