Most Positive:
Passion projects. Where completely unnecessary things were added for the joy of it. When a game respects the player and the world. It creates multiple viable options, and a space of harmonious interactions, outcomes, consequence. Where things matter in in specific ways, rather than box-checking. Also the mood a piece creates through the harmony of all art forms going into it (setting, sound, visuals). I like when something is left to the imagination, and lean towards lower dialogue games, but ones with such story/lore richness that it isn't necessary. Your game play is the story, rather than the on rails story set through over-scripting.

Most Negative:
Dailies, battle passes and the like are my least favorite game mechanics. Even more than horrible micro transactions. Even if free. You never really know what your incentive to play is any more. Nor the incentive of your allies or opponents. I want to play only for the joy of the game, and play with/against those playing for the joy of the game. Next would be over-scripting, and the game taking control of the player. Things done in the name of drama, that only take me out of it.
