A truly wonderful release, evidently crafted with care and love. When we so often see that the center of the tootsie pop is hollow, it's wildly refreshing to find a sweet candy core instead.

This game has a sweet candy core, and it's going to take you many, many licks to get there.

This game has been with me for a long, long time, and I'm happy to see it still so loved and cared for, by gifted creators and passionate fans.

Dwarf Fortress is a labor of love, and in spirit is what all games should aspire to be - something made from a spark of care.

I was just the young son of a dead count, waiting my turn on the throne. The schemes of dukes and kings were the past and future of my blood, but then and there, all that mattered was my kitten, Snow. Snow was a wonderful cat, and the best friend a little guy could have. He killed rats, pissed on my Chanellor's clothes, and helped me flirt with my crush. When I grew up, and my new wife was heavy with child, she wanted me to get rid of Snow. I declined, of course, for the bonds between man and cat run deeper than than any matrimony, and my faith was soon rewarded. Snow brought me proof, that clever little bugger, that my wife had taken another man to bed, that my daughter was not my daughter. So, my wife fled the country and my spymaster was beheaded, and the wars of vengeance that scoured Ireland wouldn't soon be forgotten.

10/10 would war for my cat again
