I just played through it again/unlocked everything, and I've been playing the fifth one a lot, so my skills are in decent shape, haha. The Mercenaries.. hmm.. HUNK OP. My record currently shows as a hundred thousand points on the first map with him >_>

Make her wear the suit of armor if you don't want to mess with her, haha

Ashley only affects gameplay if you're doing it wrong! :D It's pretty hard to shoot her unless you do it on purpose. She ducks or gets behind you, generally speaking. With the harder parts you can almost always stick her in a dumpster, also.

Whoa whoa whoa. One is not simply better than Ashley. I may have to see this for myself eventually. Though I admit she probably has an advantage because of her insane amount of dialogue.
