Well this was just terrible. The voice acting is sub-par at best. The story never really made sense. If you are scared of hooks in the middle of an apartment building then this is just the game for you. Though I think the best part was the monster. When it actually starts to chase you it's just wonderous. Instead of running, his arms and legs just flail about. He looked like a retarded flying fish.

It's not terrible but the sheer lack of content is a pretty major downside. I had more or less experienced all the game had to offer within 5 matches. So if you are fine paying 20 bucks for a tiny amount of content go ahead.

I've bounced back and forth with this game for a bit where sometimes I hate it and other times I just like it. When my character is new sometimes the new start can be fun but I am very quickly reminded how tedious this game can be. The vast majority of the enemies are not challenging but rather an annoyance. It starts to feel like they are just there to slow you down rather than being a fun fight.
I've gotten really tired of running through the same areas in souls games. I'm tired of Poisoned swamps, of reused characters, or art assets being copy pasted it's just getting boring guys. None of the enviorments feel fresh to me, it just feels like a big ol copy of the previous souls games and that isn't fun.

Add onto that the people who are getting flagged for cheating without good reason as well as the crashes that people keep experiencing and I have a very hard time recommending this game. I try to think "What in this would justify the price?" and I can't think of anything.

Granted as I say that i've noticed that i'm at 108 hours already with the game not even being out for two weeks. One would think that would mean the game is enjoyable. To a certain extent it is but usually i've treated the game as a background thing, something to do with my hands while I listen to a podcast or something. When I sit there without something something else going on I am bored out of my mind. Same thing with Civilization when I don't have something else going.

In brief , the game is kind of boring, it is not anywhere near as hard as people make it out to be if you have a good shield, the art is lazy, the locations are boring, the anti-cheat is banning people without reason, the magic is pretty damn weak ( save for pyromancy) and it's just more of the same. So I guess if you really want more dark souls there is that. If I hadn't had a friend buy it for me I think I would be a lot angrier than I am now.

Oh I almost forgot, the pope outfit is a saving grace in this game.

I think the best way to describe this game is to call it a mod for garry's mod. That is what it feels like to me.

Positives.
1. Fast paced action oriented gameplay.
2.It's free.
3. It more or less requires teamwork to actually get anywhere unless one guy can manage to rush forward by sheer luck alone.
4. If you can get a good team the game works well and has a decent balance where the classes work off each other well.

Negatives.
1. It's far too easy to get overrun. If you stay in one room or area for more than a minute you have basicly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ yourself over. While it is true that a group could hold out in a room, since the zombies never stop spawning you aren't really helping yourself. Holding up only works on the lower difficulty settings. Too many zombies. Because of the way this game works, because of the guns you have and because you are going to get seperated from your team. It becomes far too difficult early on.

2. The weapons are unbalanced. I'm not sure if this was done to get us to relyon our teamates but the guns are not very good. If you are playing support it's practically impossible to actually defend yourself against a mob of zombies. You will not do enough damage to take out the group at any point. Shotguns are painfully slow to reload, if you get a group larger than the ammount of shells you can have loaded at once you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥. This is a bit weird really since the game more or less encourages you to rush but it doesn't really give you any weapons you can outright rush with. The closest is the sniper which does enough damage but if your aim is even slightly off you'll find you might also be screwed.

3.The game relies on some amount of teamwork but you'll rarely get any teamwork. For some reason, most of the servers I joined simply resulted in people running way the ♥♥♥♥ ahead and everyone trying to catch up. It's more or less impossible to solo this game so running ahead helps no one. If you run into a large group you are kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ unless you have some teamates with you but most of the time they will just abandon you first chance they get. Add this to the fact that many of the people who are playing don't speak the same language and are usually younger and you have a problem.

4. There are a lot of kids and non-english speakers playing this game. Look if someone doesn't speak english that is fine, the problem is if I need to communicate to you i'm going to have a very hard time doing so. Even the kids who speak english aren't really much help. I've run into very little screaming or anything like that. However I have run into people that don't seem to understand the fundementals of the game and just try to hold up in a room.

I think there is potential here for something really interesting but some improvements needs to be made. Since it's free I recomend trying it just because there is enough here to be entertaining and frustrating.
