PUBG is to this day probably still the best battle royale.
That's core mechanics wise.

However not being able to choose what map you play is simply atrocious.
I'd rather load 50 man into the map I want, than legitimately play my least favorite map 3 hours in a row.

I cannot give my recommendation to a game that is fun. But enforces what to play and what not to play. Have a favorite map expect not to see it for days, only to get shot randomly on the one time you do. Only to wait for a week to see it again.
