The game aim to simulate the whole front line of the WW1 western front and take control of air force units anytime you want. Despite the control being initiative and rather EASY to adopt, it COULD still feel clunky due to lack of interfaces and indicators.

The graphic and art design are outdated or rather 2000s, but somehow the optimization is on par with Combat Missions (This is not a compliment). Transition between strategic and tactical, or most of the moments in combat simply resulted in terrible frame drops, should have been a pure RTS game instead of a flight simulator wanna be.

However it's a OK product from a one man developer and should deserve a pat on the shoulder. Tell me when they solved the problems.

War Thunder if Gaijin have a heart and in 2D.
Don't let the look deceive you, it looks clumsy, childish or even stupid, but the effort and accuracy put in this game is quite amazing.
The game also provided an IL2 1946 like experience of simple campaigns and editors.
If you have experienced the flash games era, you will find a lot of nostalgia in this game too.

Need improvement on the UI and polish the details but still fun enough

Absolutely a BANGER even in current stage, the replayability of these missions are crazy thank to mission randomizer.
It does need some time to polish but I still enjoy this game right now.

I don't leave a review often but this one, this one does put a smile on my face.
I would call it a COJ game myself but if you are a COC player who is into anime style Cthulhu Mythos deities, you will surely find yourself in love with Depersonalization.

No performance issues nor bugs encountered so far, liked the new combat maps, the prologue is gold even for veterans of previous games. I will wait for mods and NIPPON definitely.

Hold your horse before ranting about this is a oVeRPrICed GaRBaGe anime shooter.
You didn't even see the other half of the game.
We need to realize this is created by a really small team and this game is actually an Eroge.
Unfortunately they could not release the uncut version on family friendly steam, but you can patch it yourself.

Judge this game only after you patched it.

Yes, the shooter animations need to be improved, It has it's flaw and glitches.
But the game also has professional voice over for the whole game(which is very rare for indie games, every scene and lines are voiced) and fun to play already. Not to mention the NSFW scenes while fighting zombies or back to the home town.

A mediocre zombie shooter...but with a ton of 3d anime girl hentai? That's a BIG YES.
